I always liked them together because someone like Taylor Swift ( one of the most famous/ richest women in the planet ) would need someone who looked at and loved Taylor the person and not at Taylor the superstar. The fact she's been singing that from Reputation itself 'you must like me for me ' does mean Joe got that. He also seems to be the calm rock to Taylor's brilliant chaos. From his interviews and what his co-stars say you can gather he is kind , polite and very considerate. He talks respectfully and highly of the female co-stars & directors he works with. This was me too once upon a time and it took a lot of trauma therapy for me to break the cycle. It takes a lot of growing to realize that when someone hurts us that doesn't mean the next person will and that when people tell us who they really are we have to believe them. Loyal people will be loyal, nobody can make them cheat or do something stupid. People who were not loyal in the first place won't stay loyal not because someone made them it's because they chose to. Sometimes because we grew up in chaotic homes we seek chaos, drama, problems, and toxic people because that's what we believe is normal and when a real healthy person comes along we think it's weird, off or really boring since our minds are so used to the drama and the perpetual chaos. We seek chaos and drama because it's familiar, not because it's healthy or good for us and that's something that you have to watch out for.

Midnights is like a reflection on her past. Even with her song anti-hero, you can see it as her being aware of her flaws. I think about my past relationships and see where things went wrong, and it has been therapeutic to do so. My husband doesn't care, and it doesn't mean anything. In the end, I feel like I know myself better and understand why I do the things I do.
