Why did the Canon 5D Classic become such a success,1. episode reviewing cameras from the 5d line-up

The Canon 5D Classic or mark i was one of Canons best selling prosumer/professional cameras ever, and despite it’s age it is in high demand today, why is that?
I start with this review a series of reviews of cameras from the awesome 5D series of cameras. New time I’ll be reviewing the 5D mark iii that was highly regarded by professionals, and the last camera in this 5D series will be the 50 megapixel 5DSR, the highest resolution DSLR that Canon has ever made.
