Just a note on the aardvark kill. Aardvark claws are specially adapted for digging into termite mounds which are roughly as tough as concrete.

If by roughly as tough as concrete you mean nothing like as tough as concrete. A tiny outer layer is of comparable hardness to clay brick, while the rest of the mound is unusually hard only when compared to normal compacted soil.

7:34 With the cheaper fake blood you either have very think black blood or thin cherry soda blood, smaller productions have had some success at thinning the thinker fake blood to look better but dyeing it involves staining so that's a 50/50 if they will. There is also the kind you can make with simple house hold products but then indie studios may prefer the kind of fake blood that washes out so they can redo takes without buying a whole new outfit as home made blood tends to use food dye. (Not saying asylum is one because it makes enough money to be able to buy some good fake blood) Of course there is the one alternative that no studio really uses anymore and that's real animal blood and organs. This is completely understandable that they don't. Texas chainsaw massacre used a small amount of real human blood in one shot that I believe belonged to the one wearing it and much worse The hills have eyes used a real dead dog they got from the sheriff's department... why did the sheriff's department have a dead dog in the first place? Of course the worst offender was the Cannibal Holocaust which had real animal death on camera.

Imho, whether it's zombies, vampires, werewolves along with various folklore creatures, are generally free of copyright though exceptions occur for certain particular depictions like twilight, RE and other popular franchises. Similarly the SCP franchise is mostly copyright free and you can build some really content from them too, much like prior authors copyright free domains ranging from Wells to Lovecraft. In short, i am just glad that Asylum & others haven't discovered SCP lore yet while making something weird from one of the impressive lore i have seen.

Fun fact for the rhino scene: That color is very black. even for venous blood, that's a bit dark. Alfred Hitchcock used actual chocolate syrup for blood Psycho, but since it was in black and white, he did not have to worry about color matching.
