He signed for an average of 50 mil a year with it super backloaded though to account for when the cap would skyrocket and it would still be a bargain.

I’m a Dallas fan and Dak did the exact opposite to us and look where we are lol… Not trying to say players shouldn’t maximize their earnings but when your a franchise QB on your second or 3rd deal is it really more important to get 400 mil vs taking 350 and giving your team a better chance to stack your roster so you can win? And in Daks case he squeezed the team for every dollar but hasn’t won anything in his career and honestly never will… Brady was already a multiple time sb champ at that point leaving money on the table to stack his roster so they could keep winning…
