With the exception of one person, they all ended up in Malta for jobs. The lady of 10 years clearly isn’t happy. And as she said, the last 3 years she has seen nothing good happen there. Hardly anyone moves there for a happy, peaceful, clean life. They used to, but not anymore. I lived there but recently left. Dirty, over crowded, concrete, corrupt jungle! Good video Alex 👍

All the locals are going nuts! Too many people, we are overpopulated guys and this channel is not helping with the problem!!!!! Using Malta as a decoy for subscribers and followers is as bad as it gets. At least make a video on the reality here! How construction works has been driving people crazy for the past years because the demand for flats and accommodation is rising crazily

@@grail27 Yeah it’s a total disaster, it’s a commercial, corrupt, polluted piece of land in the Mediterranean run but Crooks and greedy politicians. We sold every inch Maltese soul practically. Yes, we have good jobs, but inflation is still too high here and it just keeps getting higher every week. Traffic is a nightmare. Homocides are becoming more frequent. There is no justice for women in our courts. We have shitty laws dictating what to do with women’s bodies. Pollution is also crazy, all the dust from construction, the exhaust from cars and ships and airplanes. Sea water is filled with fish farm waste. I moved to Malta and have been here for almost a year. I moved here when I got married. My wife is Maltese. I came from Florida in the USA. I love it here despite the difficulties like traffic and the dense population. Actually, even though there is more traffic here than where I came from, I like it better here because traffic is slower. And I love how you can get anywhere in Malta within a short drive. We used to have to drive hours to get anywhere we wanted to go in the USA. Also I love that I can get a doctor to come to my house instead of me having to always go to a doctor at a clinic. The medical system in the USA is terrible. Medical treatment and care is much cheaper here in Malta and is very good. I also got my teeth fixed here in Malata for a tiny fraction of what I would have paid in the USA and the dentist saved one of my teeth that the US dentist wanted to extract. Yes some things are more expensive like whem buying products. We pay much more for some things but its because everything has to be shipped in to Malta. Also you have no access to Amazon Prime and shipping is more expensive to have anything shipped to you. One thing I really mis in the USA are the wild places. There are very little wild locations in Malta and the biodiversity here is very small compared to the biodiversity in Florida or other places in the USA. I miss the wildlife and the forests but its a tradeoff and we can always travel to visit wild place. The people are very kind, as many as I have met. I love how religious the country is. There are churches, chapels, and cathedrals everywhere. My wife's family are wonderful. There is an incredible amount of history in Malta and there are so many historical places to discover. Overall I really love it in Malta but I would have gone wherever my wife was to be with her. I am a writer and an artist, You can find my books at the following link if your interested. God bless you. www.justask.church

It would be sensible for Danika from Bulgaria to realise that her very presence there is part of the problem of overcrowding which she is lamenting about. She doesn't seem to be a pleasant person. I have had some of her compatriots as neighbours. If people are unsociable and act so bizarrely , why do they go to other countries when the culture and societal behaviour is so different?

@@authenticitymarketing7229 Wow! Please hit me up when (when are you coming?) you can. I actually live on Gozo though! My shop is in the centre of Victoria, called 'Miracles' (statues from different cultures and faiths, scented candles, incense sticks, greeting cards - many I make by hand, angels, pictures, etc) which a friend of mine presently in the UK had in a different location before Covid. Trouble with the school was that as people come from abroad, Covid made it really one of the worst industries to be in and Gozo is a poor relation when it comes to visiting Malta! Teaching, however, is my first love and real vocation. Don't know which part of the US you are from, but expect very hot summers here - more like TX than CA, for instance, though the humidity is the worst part. I am from England so not used to so much sun! Look forward to meeting you.

It's all nice but in the end, if you want to travel somewhere in Europe you'd need to take a plane because with a car is a long drive and the island/country it's like detached from Europe...

After attempting to buy a historic home to restore, I found the government, particularly the historic commission, to be extremely anti-American and the locals to be generally xenophobic. I love Malta and this was very sad for me and my family.
