90% of Disney adults annoy tf outta me, but I 100% get it. I grew up having a fantastic time at WDW with my family every couple of years (back when it was feasible to visit) and I’m trying to give that to my kids in turn. My memories of it aren’t only great because it’s an impressive place to visit, but because we spent time together and genuinely enjoyed each other’s company. When I think back to my vacations there, I’m not remembering riding rides, I’m remembering waiting in line with my family laughing our asses off at some tangent we went off on, hiding under an awning in World Showcase during a downpour, and enjoying the warm Florida breeze away from the Buffalo cold. Disney is just a vessel to spend time with the ones you love. Disney is great, but the company you bring with you makes it perfect.

We were recently at Universal FL and got caught in a down pour 😂 my son randomly brings it up that I should have bought ponchos while laughing. Best memories were made that day lol. I also have a strong memory when I was younger and we went camping at Disney. Again downpour while at the parks, we came back to our tent floating in a lake made at our site 🤣 my dad still brings that up 30+ years later that we lost the rain top of the tent and that was his favorite tent 😂.

It's a genuin nightmare, everyone's touching everyone, everyone's sweaty and oh so loud, all the bright colors and constant advertisements The rides make you feel sick along with the sickness most people carry, a lot of people there don't wash their hands after using the restroom as well, so everything you touch can get you sick. Water is overpriced ($5 US), and so is everything else. You either become lightheaded or pay them way more than you should You can't even get on all the rides, it's really not worth it

ok, this might not help but I'm gonna put it out there anyway. A good way to help with speech impediments is to "learn" a new accent. It's not like a language where it's a lot more understanding the meaning of words, but an accent is purely the difference in pronouncing them. As I said, I have no idea if this will help you in your specific circumstances, but I'd say it's worth a shot. @ me if you end up trying and if it works, I'm genuinely curious.

My uncle nearly shat himself on the Riverboat at Disneyland almost 20 years ago. He ate one of the weird food items and it disagreed so heavily with him that he was telling the cast member that he was about to unload into the garbage can if they didn't stop the ride, but they couldn't stop it because there was nowhere to get off (apparently). He was making such a fuss that it's all I remember about the ride. He ended up sprinting into the nearest bathroom before it was even fully ready to let us off, I don't remember how, but the cast member was just FLABBERGASTED. I was just relieved he didn't get us banned from the park for life because he was the one who drove us there lmao

Chocolate Cake Ingredients: CAKE 1 ½ cups flour 1 cup dutch processed cocoa powder 1 teaspoon salt 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda ½ teaspoon baking powder 1 ½ cups stout 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 1 tablespoon espresso powder 1 cup butter 1 ½ cups sugar 3 eggs ½ cup mayonnaise 4 oz dark chocolate, chopped BUTTERCREAM 1 ½ cups butter, softened 1 tablespoon vanilla extract ½ cup dutch processed cocoa powder 5 cups powdered sugar 5 tablespoons milk fresh fruit, to decorate Preparation 1. Grease and line three 8-inch (20 cm) cake tins with parchment paper. 2. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside. 3. In a large glass measuring cup, combine the stout, vanilla, and espresso powder. Set aside. 4. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until it is light and fluffy, about 5 minutes, scraping down the sides occasionally to ensure all the ingredients are being evenly creamed together. 5. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, ensuring each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next. 6. Add the mayonnaise and beat until the mixture is smooth and creamy. 7. Preheat oven to 325˚F (160˚C). 8. Alternate adding the prepared dry and wet ingredients to the batter. Starting with about ⅓ of the dry ingredients, beat until incorporated. Then add ⅓ of the liquid ingredients, mixing until the batter comes together. Continue until all the wet and dry ingredients have been incorporated. 9. Using a rubber scraper, fold the dark chocolate chunks into the batter. 10. Distribute the batter evenly between the 3 prepared cake tins. 11. Bake for about 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. 12. Place the cakes on a cooling rack and leave to cool for about 10-15 minutes, until the outside of the pan is cool enough to touch. 13. Once the cakes have cooled, loosen the edges using a butter knife. Then place a large plate over the tin and invert to release the cake from the pan. Remove the parchment paper from the bottom of the cake and slide the cake back onto the cooling rack to cool completely. Repeat for the remaining two layers. 14. While your cakes are cooling, prepare the buttercream. 15. In a large bowl, beat together the butter and vanilla. 16. Gradually add in the cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and milk, continuously beating until all the ingredients have been incorporated and the frosting is light and fluffy. 17. Frost and decorate to your liking. 18. Slice and serve. 19. Enjoy.

If you want a fun day and you live on the East Coast there's the North Carolina Zoo, the largest natural habitat zoo in the world. It's not commercialized like Disneyland and there's certainly not rides but the animals are happy and beautiful and the scenery is beautiful and even in the hottest days in summer you can usually still find shade. It takes about a whole day to go from one side to the other but you can also choose to just go really leisurely and just walk through half, there's African and North American animals and I think the Desert Dome has species from some other places? All of my favorite outings as a kid were going there and I encourage people to go because they are doing a lot for conservation and I want to see it continue to grow. Thank you for reading this far

My mother is a Disney adult as well, but like, she bought passes and we go like every week, and she bought a disney club membership, and we have like 8 ears which are hanging on our wall, and a little statue of minnie, and a tile with our names on it with the disney brand imprinted on top, and disney bags, ect.

If anyone tells you they would never think about hitting a child, they are lying, or utilize some other form of abuse. Probably mental and emotional would be their thing. Just walk up and casually whisper that, "Mommy cries herself to sleep at night because of you." Maybe tell them to their face that, "You're the reason daddy drinks." Bonus points if after you tell them, "It's your fault your parents are getting a divorce," and they actually are in the process of it, but try to use Disney as the last ditch effort to cling together.

The way I'm watching this 2 weeks after my photographer mom took me (the "angsty teen") and my younger sister to disney as a way to connect after she and my father got a divorce, and one of our main activities was eating all of the weird food.
