I actually dated a hockey guy back in high school and I can confirm that this is sadly true. 😅 His friends would dare him to do random daredevil type stunts and he would do them without even questioning it and come home with injuries which he would fix with ductape. Yes we were young, but it really was not a good relationship. He ended up treating me poorly and cheated on me (with one of my friends), and it did leave me with a lot of trust issues. I know not all people of one stereotype are the same but in my personal experience he hit the nail on the head with this one.

In 2001 they changed a music venue in Detroit from Pine Knob to DTE Energy Music Theatre. NO ONE called it DTE. I didn't even know it was officially DTE till like 2018/19?? They changed it back to Pine Knob in 2022
