Folks been asking NI for flexible beat grids for ages. They ignored EVERYONE. Now they've lost their spokesman behind it (among other things).

ok, but don't forget the money you save if you buy a z2 . I mean 1600€ for a 2 Channel DVS Mixer and 100% problems with Serato ....Maybe the price would be ok with build in Computer but at the moment i see no big innovation compare to a ELITE, 72, 62, s9 or z2...
@gfgnickname_not_chosen25984 жыл бұрын
mort low you could just get a Numark scratch for 450 or even a used amx for less than 200 and you could have a great working Serato Setup. With the Scratch you wouldn’t even have to get the dvs expansion or anything it works straight out the box

@@mortlow6688 I own z2 and elite, the only thing traktor has over serato (these are very specific for me) serato has no master tempo I find this annoying for a certain things like making routines or experimenting, trakor has the loop recorder I use this alot even though I don't think many others do, the beat slicer effect I use this alot too in conjunction with the loop recorder, the fx in general is better on traktor. Serato has its own cool stuff too, the beat slicer on that is dope in its own right, flip is dope, I find the serato vinyl to be better than traktor vinyl, the crate system is better, the grids are better too. I use both together I run my traktor set up into the aux on my elite so I have a nice hybrid all options available set up. Z2 is desperately in need of an update though. It is a really good mixer though I have alot of love for it and with traktors mappings capabilities its actually the most flexible and customisable mixer on the market, I have mapped that mixer to work as 4 decks, I have multiple mapped buttons etc etc, the only thing that let's it down how are it's que buttons and a few ease of life options available on newer mixers

What is the purpose of music in general? What is the purpose of playing the drums? Keyboards? It's just another instrument, an instrument that takes a lot of practice to learn. It allows a DJ to take a song or sample and create something new just by using their hands.

I know two kinds at least, the ones you mention who cut through their playlist without any feeling for the audience, just them thinking they are kings - and the ones who do it for sharing their favorite tracks with the crowd.
