Everything you said is top notch information. Unfortunately the percentage of ppl who would do this in a game if i told them myself is very low. They would find excuses of why not do the play, or just ego refuse cause they dont wanna be told what to do. And thats probably true till high diamond elo

I would compare it to chess. When a beginner player looses a pawn, it doesn't really mean much because their opponent doesn't know how to take advantage, and you can even see players loosing their Queen and still winning. When a grandmaster looses their pawn in a wrong place, it might loose them the game.

There is misconception on 1:43 Straight up giving up on lane is NOT good thing and exacerbate your lose con even more, you need explain that you dont need baby that lane but dont abandoned it for too long because giving up herald is lose con at most of times, even if your mid and bot lane are ahead, gold got from turrets will skyrocket them back to the game In that time stamp and think about what objectives are worth even more are needed to take in consideration Of course at D2 and above, you can leave that lane on its own devices but not in D3 and below Heralds gold value is tied to turrets till 14 min mark, of course in this clip Nida did right thing and prevented enemy getting most valuable objective in the game thus saving his game Dragons value has been over prioritized for too long and many jungle "mains" has forgotten that Dragons buff effects like fire, earth, hextech and chemtech effects at 25 min mark where most of times at higher elos games are already finished But most valuable dragons what you need fight are Water and Air, they effect game soon as you get them I swaped to jungle from top lane because i got tired of inactive junglers Before swap, i was stuck at emerald 4, now i have gotten in to master because i know what objectives are really valuable To put simply You get gold using herald's abusive presure, gold translates to more power sooner, more power means you can effect game's outcome, effecting game translates to getting more kills and more turrets thus circle repeats faster and faster from gold part then game is over at 17-21 min mark

The problem with going to a losing lane is you lose the 2v2 if anyone else shows up, and may even lose 1v2. How you handle losing lanes depends on a lot of variables, but overall you're better off focusing on winning lanes.

Wouldn't tahm have just been able to w past kled if he tried to keep him from the wave?
@KevinTheCardigan
@KevinTheCardigan Жыл бұрын
7:30 wouldn't tahm just W into his tower? Kled's Q takes longer than Tahm's W to go off so I don't see how he can reliably deny Tahm's W or walk up between the lanes here. Seems like bad advice
@PiggyAngel37

It's the idea not how effective it is done, you just want to look for these plays, even just to get tahm ketch lower health forcing him to recall

Ok, what i understood was, botlaners dont have a say in this, they can only create a situation where that can happend but not make the play or extreamely rarely, it's always the jgl or mid that can move or top to get a 1v1 between T1 and T2, botlaners cant do that
@CoachRogue
@CoachRogue Жыл бұрын
You absolutely can if the situation presents itself, but for sure it's far less common on Botlane to do this solo, you've got supports junglers and midlaners that call the shots in your lane as well. ADC life :(

key word is you ping and your jungler shows up... lol. I dont think that works in my game. Lets say ive pinged my jungler 2000 times over the lifetime of my games. The jungler responded maybe 2 times. So thats 2 times they actually listened to a ping out of a thousand pings.

Yeah ok, that's all good and smart, but only 10% of the time do I have a sufficiently favourable match up to kill between towers, even with a lead. 90% of the time I wouldn't be able to kill my opponent alone in between his towers, tanking his wave, when he comes back with an item, after losing HP to our last fight. Not without my jungle. And we could have the exact same situation than in video : prio mid, ennemy jung spotted bot etc. I could ping my jungler 100 times to come top while I spend time setting up that uncontestably game winning play, but he would just stubbornly recall and miss the golden opportunity, there's no play for him that comes even close to that valuable. And instead of a big win, I'm wasting my time and efforts to set up that play, which cost me tempo in lane. I could've used that time to reset with an item lead and be back in lane to try and freeze wave to create a favourable situation and extend my lead, but instead, I'm stuck in lane with low HP from the last fight, no item bought, just because the jungle refused to follow the right call. And I lose lane because of it and he doesn't even understand why it's his fault and flames me for it. The big win turns into a big loss because jungle doesn't play the game. Even more reason for junglers to go for the play ! Ensure the big, obvious and easy win, prevent the losses ! Another similar case is when I know I can win this fight between towers, but have no info on ennemy jungler. If my jungler comes, he ensures the play will go well, and makes it an even bigger win if the ennemy jungle shows up, 2 kills being better than 1, and better than me just diing alone because my jungler didn't come. Yes, 90% of the time, he will instead recall right next to me or start a camp or autopath anywhere else, while this one play has insane value, it's an instant snowball and win condition, I'd then get to roam, putting my laners ahead so they can snowball themselves, I'd counterjungle and invade, putting ennemy jungle behind, making all the topside jungle our territory and annoy him out of his mind, extending the lead accross the map for everyone to profit. And it might sound selfish to say "play around me", but you have to understand that it's not just that, it's rather "given my lane state right now, and my jungler's position, here's a golden opportunity, make use of that obvious, easy, extremely valuable opportunity that will greatly impact the game and profit us all as a team in the short, mid and long run, or don't do anything and turn it into a loss, because I am going for that right play, or maybe things just won't go our way later on because you didn't take that opportunity when you could". Most junglers I see don't seem to have the basic laning fondamentals to see those plays unfold. And I'm really talking basic shit : freezing, wave stacking, jungle tracking, and knowing that any match up involving champs like renekton, riven, fiora, ilaoi, yorick etc is insanely snowbally, and definitely requires attention if you don't want to face an unstoppable monster ennemy top for not playing around your top before things get out of hand. Because players only think of themselves and don't coordinate or even have a grasp of consciousness of other's winning conditions and gameplans even when pinged right to their faces, most of the time, the right play is just a cocky coinflip, praying that your teammate does the obvious, and ends up not worth trying. Everyone has to see the right play and go for it for it to work, if 1 doesn't, it's a setback, a missed golden opportunity, or even a big unrecoverable failure. And challenger players more often see those right plays, hence are more likely to see them together, hence make them work, than the average gold to diamond player who's on autopilot 90% of the time. Why are challenger's kills worth more than mine ? Because they are better than me, yes, but much more so because they have better teammates that enable each other to make use of the opportunities they see or create, while lower elos are most often just running around on autopilot, like headless chicken, blind to most opportunities that could be taken, very rarely actively trying to enable their teammates, neither by following them or creating opportunities for them to follow, only focused on creating and taking opportunities for themselves.
