I am not constantly being hit up by other guys and have never ignored men who have showed me interest. Men have treated me badly and have not appreciated all of the patience I've shown them. I was one of those women who did not know her own worth and I regret all of those years. You have to understand that if you aren't taught your own worth or value, then you will not know what that is. If men keeping teaching you that your value is garbage, you will start to believe it over time. I now know my own worth and am content to be alone if that is how things end up. I like myself, I like being alone and have "me time." I'd rather hang out by myself than spend time with toxic, abusive, immature, and emotionally abusive people.

Good Women get treated so badly because men take advantage of what they consider the weaker partner. He want play with all the marbles and not want to share. It's called do just enough to get by mentality, emotionally, financially. All of the behavior is wrong and not treating someone like they want to be treated. A lot of men are on the take. Take more than they want to give. Ruin many good women with this behavior and now upset because good women become bad and then they wonder where the good women are? Go figure. I am so hurt, I’ve been in 2 relationships and they are the same. And my boyfriend now he is just so so so mean💔 like I don’t understand why. I literally do anything for him, I treat him so so good, It took me so so long to open up to him because of my past toxic relationship and in the beginning he was so nice, I though he was a man of god and then overnight he completely changed. Manipulation and controlling behaviour is not love. If you are happy 1% of the time and 99% of the time miserable/lonely/misunderstood and hoping things will go back to the way it was in the beginning or that things will get better if you try harder - they won't! You might make excuses for their behaviour now. But you do so, at the expense and gradual erosion of your self esteem and self worth - which is hard to get back. No man is worth that!

It's important to break the cycles of abuse, which is often generational. Gaining knowledge from KZbin and working with a therapist (who understands personality disorders) can help keep you sane and break the cycle of abuse. So it doesn't get passed down to the next generation. You both deserve so much more! The years pass quickly and life's too short to spend it unhappy!

I can't even call him an ex bc I feel in his mind the relationship was just a game. Anyway, first date I picked the place. He was late due to traffic, fine. We were intimate first date. He pressured me. Something I never do as I'd been in only 2 relationships prior, one lasting 7yrs. Anyway, foll. week he tells me he loves me. At first I was confused, so I said it back. I really liked him. Then things started to go down hill. He became very stingy, controlling, selfish. He told me he wanted to help me organize my finances so we can be on the same page bc he wants to marry me in 6m-1yr. He couldn't cook. I'd wake up 1.3hrs early around 5am to cook him breakfast and lunch, go to work for another 12 hrs, come home and cook him dinner for another 2hrs. You know what did after dinner? He took a shower and went to bed. I was left to clean up by myself. He couldn't even wash the dishes. He would tell me that he didn't know how to use the handheld scrubber. He would criticize my weight, even though I'm a size Medium. He told me he didn't like my weight. He would do all this and after I walk out, he would call me to tell me he want to make this work, blah blah blah. He gaslight me over something very insignificant. Anyway, he finally broke up with and his reason was that 1. I don't adhere to my weight loss goals, even though I'm in the gym with a trainer every week. And 2. I don't fit his financial budget. He is a Data Scientist and does some Software Engineering on the side. I have a decent paying career. I never asked for a red cent from this man. In fact, did more for him than he ever dreamt of doing for me, financially too. Anyway, I'm trying to find my humanity again, bc I feel like I've been stripped of it. I'm not ok and I don't know when I will be, especially bc I don't generally like people like that. He was the first guy I genuinely liked and loved. I adored him and showed him respect everyday, and he just stepped on my heart like it was nothing.

There are so many videos out there telling women what they need to do, how they need to behave, how they need to act, to love themselves, to value themselves…but where are these videos for men? The only videos I see for men are centered around how to get a woman to sleep with you. I agree with some points you make with regards to valuing yourself more as a women but why is this video only addressing what good women do wrong? How about maybe creating a video to encourage young men who treat good women like this to value the presence of a woman like that in their lives and not take her for granted? I think the focus needs to be taken off of "good women". Society is full of takers. The real question needs to be, why arent there people in the world who have morals, good character, and integrity? What people see as being a "good woman" should be seen as her being a decent human being, like people should be in general. I think dating is just hard for both genders. Good guys don't get taken seriously because they're usually not as attractive as other men. (Sorry I hate to say it but it's true). I've dated men that weren't my type and it still didn't turn out. There's too many factors (the checklist). There's gotta be some kind of attraction, chemistry, mutual respect, love, hustle, similar beliefs, similar interests. I could go on and on lol.
