Yeah. We're all different and we all need to do what feels right to us. Not to mention the fact that what we believe plays such a HUGE role. I've heard of people dying because they were told they had a terminal illness only for the doctors to realize after that it was a misdiagnosis, but by then it was too late because the patients had already let themselves die. So sad how a lot of us let outside circumstances determine the direction of our lives. But that is also the beauty of it. We have full control over our destiny, and that is a truly magical thing.

Just a couple of things: You cannot turn your body alkaline or acidic. It will balance itself out. Anything that actually throws that out of balance (like sepsis or many other conditions) will put you in the emergency room. Metabolic acidosis is too much acid in your body and the opposite is the same kind of serious emergency. You cannot change the pH of your blood. As for sugar, it's my understanding that there's specialized scans where they are looking for tumors and the tumors light up, right? You are injected with something to make the tumors light up and the reason that they light up is because that something contains sugar and the tumors absorb the sugar. I don't know all the technicalities of that but it is what I have heard. You have an oncology nurse on here commenting on sugar, perhaps she can answer.

You’re a lovely person and I too believe you will be cured❤️. Sugar and acidic foods and manifesting and all those theories I tend to think are definitely the vegetable and potatoe on the plate but the steak, I think are genetics. Down the family history someone had something similar or exactly the same. Even far back before they could name it. For instance my friend has a heart condition and she is in the normal range of western medicines BMI etc etc played basketball with me on teams and she continued on into college. So she was predisposed by her mom and aunt (the steak part) however her lifestyle began to be bad like drinking and smoking (potatoe and salad if you will lol) and she refused to stop drinking and smoking to this day. If she had gave all that up, she never would have had the heart attack. She just didn’t listen to her doctors. You are responding to your health challenge perfectly…..you listen to the doctors and you get treatment and you are adding other eastern philosohies and you’re apart of your own healing. I think genetics plays such a role in all of us. My grandma was a chronic worrier and stressed out but didn’t transition until she was almost 90. I wouldn’t blame yourself ❤️. Your wonderful fierce attention and treatment and God, to your situation will cure you. You’re an amazing person.

Thanks for sharing your friend's story (and I really liked the food analogy you used throughout her story). You may be right that genetics play a large part in what happens to us healthwise, but I don't take that into consideration because I refuse to use it as an excuse (not that I believe that is what you were implying). By focusing all of my attention on what I have control on (what I physically do and what I believe), I maximize my odds of curing myself, even if the control I have is limited. I also believe we as humans have a far greater level of control over ourselves and the world around us than we realize, and I'm using this experience to further master that skill. Thanks for everything you shared 🙏. I really like your way if thinking and communicating.

Am just curious to know if you have done any specific research since your diagnosis which guided you in your diet plan or do you just go with what feels right for you?
@LivingOutLoud-LWS4C4 ай бұрын
That's kind of difficult to answer but I'll do my best. When I first eliminated sugar from my diet following my diagnosis, I hired a nutrition coach who helped a lot of other people beat cancer using nutrition, so he was the one who told me what I should and shouldn't eat. When I decided it was time to reintroduce fruits into my diet, I used my knowledge of healthy eating which I had accumulated throughout my life and came up with a much more flexible but still healthy diet that includes lots of fruits and vegetables and minimal processed foods. But I'm not as strict as I was when I was on the restricted sugar diet. Hopefully that answers your question.
@Noodles.FreeUkraine4 ай бұрын
Hey, of course, whatever you do is completely up to you. That said, the sugar theory is logically valid, and I wouldn't dismiss it right away. Cancer is a very inefficient energy hog, and it needs lots of energy (= sugar, more specifically glucose) to grow. And since you mentioned it: Yes, we see significantly more cancer in obese people. Of course, sugar is not the only reason, but things add up. Essentially, sugar is problematic for at least two reasons. For one, it delivers concentrated energy that tumors need for rapid growth. Then, it raises insulin levels. Mind you, insulin is the most anabolic hormone in the body, and it also provides general growth signals that you obviously don't want around tumors. Now, the theory is, that you could cut that sugar from your diet and influence tumor growth. Is it effective? Hard to tell. Tumors have a habit of shaping their environment. They will manipulate the surrounding tissues to grow more blood vessels to feed themselves more nutrients and all kinds of other nasty things. Why wouldn't they just increase gluconeogenesis? That would get them their beloved sugar from amino acids (= proteins), breaking down muscular tissue in the process, making you waste away even faster. This is something many people get fundamentally wrong. Just because you stuff something down your throat or not doesn't mean it will or won't end up in your body-e.g. eating eggs that contain a lot of cholesterol won't necessarily increase the cholesterol levels in your blood. If your body thinks those levels ought to be high for whatever reason, it'll just produce it as needed, no matter if you eat a dozen eggs a day or none at all. Overall, it's difficult to tell without scientific studies. But since there's no money to be made in telling people to just ditch their Snickers bar instead of buying tablet x for $500 per daily dose, those will be hard to come by. I have a hunch that it may well curb _excessive_ tumor growth, up to a point. But I highly doubt that it will make a tumor whither away or even heal you for good. On the other hand, every little bit helps and there may be a bit of welcome synergy when adding it to the standard treatment. And as you pointed out, we can't forget about our general well-being, either. I'd leave carbs out if I could live without them, but some people can't deal with it. As an in-between, you could always choose fruit that is simply lower in dextrose (like more apples and oranges instead of bananas and grapes).
@LivingOutLoud-LWS4C4 ай бұрын
Wow! That was an incredibly detailed overview. I especially loved the fact that you presented it in a factual, unbiased way. You made a lot of good points and I'm sure people will get great value from it. Personally, I think the most important thing at the end of the day (both for this and everything in life) is to do what feels right to US, and not let what others do or don't believe affect us. Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge on the subject 🙏.
