Hiccups are involuntary contractions of the diaphragm, the muscle beneath your lungs that helps with breathing. The exact cause of hiccups is not fully understood, but they often occur due to irritation or stimulation of the diaphragm or its surrounding nerves. Common triggers include eating or drinking too quickly, consuming spicy or hot foods, swallowing air, sudden changes in temperature, excitement, stress, or certain medical conditions. When the diaphragm contracts suddenly, it causes the characteristic "hic" sound and sensation. In most cases, hiccups are harmless and resolve on their own. However, persistent or chronic hiccups that last for more than 48 hours may be a sign of an underlying health issue and should be evaluated by a healthcare professional. Thanks, SPOTLIGHT ENGLISH!

I suffered from hiccups for a long time, but I found a good treatment, which is one or two doses of a medicine called Largectil 0.25.

Thank you for sharing this hicup video! For several times I got normal hicups not need of any treatments. But my first son at the age of less than two weeks underwent it so that we went to the doctor. In a short term we got rid of it with the medicine called Primperant. I just think it caused by the lack of water. I'm not sure. Your witnesses are more extreme. Thanks!
