@@The-Shayar Kesa hai ji ? There are some indian communities in India try Delhi or Cochin, i know it is a vast country. You can always order online. The cover is relativity inexpensive it is the scroll that is a bit more costive. If you're intention is good and sincere (which is not in doubt) that is what really counts and that you dont desecrate it. Being mindful of the purpose of the mezuzah !

@@hameorahA fake is actually *not* better than nothing in Judaism. We learn this from the explanation of a pig in the Torah. At first glance it appears kosher because of its cloven hooves. But unlike every other animal with cloven hooves, it is not a ruminant (ie does not chew its cud). Therefore, it is the quintessential symbol of dishonesty and teaches that Jewish-ish is not Jewish enough.

This is very interesting but I’m also genuinely curious about your status as a convert- Are you still considered one of the chosen people and if so does that mean being chosen is to do with the quality of the relationship with the one God rather than your DNA?

I have some videos on my personal channel about conversion if you’re interested. It’s not just about the quality of relationship with G-d as every human being has full right and access to connect with the Creator, but it’s about the nature of that relationship and the covenant (ie the responsibilities) we have as a people. Our spiritual role as a nation is to remind the world of G-d’s oneness through our actions.

In the Torah, there is no mention of a cylinder, box, or even parchment, but only the doorposts themselves. Why does apparently no one write the verses on the door in the open, so people can actually read them?
@lisettegarcia
@lisettegarcia 3 ай бұрын
Excellent question!!!! The same way that you would not wear an unset diamond or buy loose pages of a manuscript in a bookstore that have not been bound as a book, Jews place a high premium on preserving and protecting holy artifacts in ways that enhance their beauty while minimizing damage. Because of the process and materials used, the letters on a claf (Torah parchment) can flake off over time if exposed to air and humidity. So, the case keeps the message within intact, just as the tefillin boxes do.

If you read the bible, the first twenty verses of the first chapter describe how The Almighty separated light from darkness, lights from lights, waters from waters, day from night. Indeed, subdividing matter according to assigned functions is a central theme of the creation narrative.

@lisettegarcia Palestinians are the native people of the land. They, genetically, are the native descendants of the ancient Hebrew people. How did they end up in the controlled mass prisons of Gaza? The European immigrants saw themselves as superior and entitled to what these longstanding communities had, because they were European. They massacred, stole from, and forced the rightful owners of the communities into camps, and then into Gaza. They have been controlled, oppressed, abused, deprived, and murdered by Israel since. All criminal. All against God's instructions. Those European immigrants should simply have settled in the existing communities and uninhabited land. There was plenty. They murdered and stole instead.

@@holyarmor578 Let me explain .In 587 B.C. the first temple was destroyed by the Babylonians , In 539 B.C. Cyrus the Great conquered Babylonia and let Jews return to Israel and the 2nd temple was constructed .In 70 a.d the Roman empire destroyed the second temple and Jews were brought to various parts of the Roman empire over time these Jews migrated to Germany and France which they called Ashkenaz were they settled along the Rhine River in cities like Mainz, Worms and Spyers. In the 1100's they migrated to Poland where they had freedom to practice Judaism ( Google Casimir the great and the jews) You can also Google the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth under Catherine the great/ Pale of Settment Russian Empire. Many Jews lived in the Pale of Settment. So the Ashkenazi Jews are the descendents of the Jews of the Babylonian empire. Now you might wonder why some have light skin not all Ashkenazi Jews have light skin one of my brothers and many cousins have dark skin. While in Roman Empire many jews married Southern Italian women who converted to Judaism and that is why some Ashkenazi Jews have a Southern Italian component. Here is another fact 45-50 percent of the Israeli Jewish population are Mizrahi Jews who have lived in the Levant and adjacent areas for thousands of years. Mizrahi jews are jews who lived in what would become Arab lands Cyrus the Great would be Persian and and Mizrahi Jews would be Persian Jews, many Persian,Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jews lived at one time in North Africa. I hope this was helpful.
