I just got my hair retightened and the next day found that the loctician had combined some locs in the front. She is a very experienced loctician, so she probably did it for a reason but I wish she would have said something before she did it. When I found it, I felt away. Communication is so important.

I've had two clients come in with combined locs. One went from having over 400 locs at installation to just 371 when she transferred to me. There was no discussion had beforehand. Oh, and she had holes in 11 of her locs. ETA: The worst part? She had to do a 2 hour commute to get to the person who did all that to her. People are moving mahd quite honestly, and it's just so wrong.

Situations like this hurt my feelings and I'm not even the one it happened to...SMH. I take so much pride in my locs because for so long I didn't like my hair (young and didn't know how to properly care). These loc-cons are out here charging hundreds and doing a bad job. My retie is stretched over several days because I'd rather be tired and take breaks as opposed to someone taking my money and messing my hair up. I'm thankful that she found you and you fixed it for her.

I wish i had of seen this video 2 weeks ago 😭, my loctician of 6 and half years had been unable to fit me in for the past 6 months and i got to the point of wanting to just give up then come across a video of someone who had gone 10 months without a retwist and then decoded to do it myself, while going through my hair i come across loads that had been combined that i had no idea of,, i was soo disappointed, i ended up cutting a good few off, but will use them to reattach in other places that my hair fell out while trying to get an appointment, now im searching for videos to help me learn how to reattach 🙈😭

I have 3 locs combined. While she was preparing to combine, my loctician stated that they were too thin. But my locs have flourished. Haven't had to combine any since then

Wow I did my own install and reties and this makes me scared to go to a loctician now. Mine are really small and I’d rather pay more for them to stay small then the loctician combining them due to time and them apparently being too thin. Maybe I like them thin. The disrespect 🙃

Wow, this should NEVER be done without the clients permission. I had a new client come to me and this happened to her. I didn't know this could be undone.
