Hi...I am the caregiver for my 84 year old mom who has advanced dementia...I find your videos very informative and I have tried some of your ideas. My mom constantly repeats " I want to go home" for hours on end every day!! She believes people are going to steal things from her and wants to hide everything or take it "home". I try to entertain her every day with what I call "musical diversion " every day. She could be cursing and being very mean one moment...but when I turn on chubby checkers "the twist" or Frankie Valli She starts to dance and get people to dance with her!!! And she even remembers the words for the most part!! I just wish I could find aides to do this with her as well!! Please keep making your videos as they are spot on and very helpful!!!

Re: dementia…My daughter took a bird house kit into dad’s rehab facility. Dad helped her hammer in the nails. & She played songs on her guitar. Dad loved these activities!

What if they're doing this repeating questions while you're talking to them on the phone? Like if they ask you how you're doing then 5 minutes later they ask you how you're doing then they keep doing this like every 5 minutes during the conversation?

Excuse me, you don't get out much do you? People who think they are normal, repeat themselves all the time, I marry into a family that had alzeimer's. Husband had it, mother in law had it, her mother had it.

I don't know why you think all of this is so funny. It isn't.
