Yes, sects are Haram…however, what do you suggest fixes the problem of the split opinions? In your opinion, what is the solution/blueprint of Islam as practiced by Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). Because obviously you weren’t alive during his time so who’s advise are you going to take? Because according to the Shia, THEY are doing exactly what you suggest. They believe their version is the correct version. Why? This is why: -You want to learn about God, Allah SWT, so who knows Allah best? Islam -You want to learn about Islam, who knows Islam best? Prophet Muhammad (saw) -You want to learn about Rasool, who knows the Rasool best? Imam Ali (as) and the Ahlul Bayt Prophet Muhammad (saw) himself said in Sunni hadith that he leaves for us the Quran and his Ahlul Bayt.

Studying Beautiful and righteous Islam. I have a a simple question, did PBUH Imam Ali pray on Turbah? Since the Imam Sadiq the 6th Imam said it was obligated to pray on Turbah. Just trying to make sense of this. And putting Names of beloved PBUH Hussain is that not comparing Imam to ALLAH, and considered a shirk in Islam? Thank you beautiful Shia people.

Imam ali a.s prayed on the soil. The turbah is a way for us to still pray on soil even during this time. I personally don’t care on what name is written on it. What matters is who you are praying to in your heart.

Muharram is not an innovation. Just like Hazrat Yaqub (AS) cried for his son Yusuf (AS), the same way we Shias cry for Hussain (AS) in Muharram. Not to forget Yaqub (AS) cried for his son his whole life and as a result he went blind.

Not true… Imam Maalik in his Muwatta and if you look at every other scholar, they all say to put your hands on the chest or below.. Imam Malik was beaten in prison as every righteous person, Allah tests him… he couldn’t raise his hands or put them on his chest… so he put them aside, and every other follower of Imam Malik started doing that… May Allah forgive you and me and forgive us.. and May Allah forgive me if I said anything wrong

I’m a Sunni studying Maliki fiqh what you said isn’t genuine to the message. Imam Malik mentions it to show he knows the Hadith. But Imam Malik prioritizes the tabi’un and Ahlul Medina as clear evidence and stronger evidence. Imam Malik prayed with arms down prior to any injury. This is a misconception to make the Maliki opinion seem invalid and his students that follow unintelligent. Imam Malik had great evidence for his rulings.
