Followed all your videos. Within 3mth my husband was approved for his 5yrs work permit with travel authorization. We are now waiting for our I130 and I485 to be approve. Hopefully this will be done soon. We did this on our own.

Hi to everyone. Why receipt notice is coming late nowadays? Marriage based green card April 9th 2024: papers sent April 13th delivered by USPS April 22nd return mail receipt got with stamp that paper were receipt at April 16th Today is more that 2 weeks after USCIS received papers. Even checks as of today were not get cashed I thought nowadays after April 2024 fees increased and cases should be fast starting from receiving receipt notice, biometrics up to combo cards and interview Thanks

Hi there! I actually totally feel you and we experience the exact same deal. But think about it! The USCIS just received THOUSANDS of cases. All at once. Everyone submitted their applications at the same time. There are people out there who were sitting on their applications for years and applied just now because of the fee increase. I'm afraid to imagine how their sorting facilities look like right now and I truly feel for the USCIS employees. I believe things will speed up eventually, maybe in 3-6 months, but we did anticipate that it would probably slow down a bit at first. Your checks will be cashed, don't worry. It's all truly just a matter of time. Please keep us posted and let us know when you hear from them 😊

@@marriagegreencard Hi. Nothing changed still. My PD to Chicago lockbox was April 13th. It's been more than a month. I sent all by mail, not online. Checks is not get cashed yet. It's frustrating time. I contact Emma chat, they said to wait 30 days. After I emailed to lockbox email. Not respond from there also, it was just automated message that in 30 days they will respond. I called USCIS representative, and she said my case is simply not on their system and receipt number is not generated yet. On this Saturday May 25th it will be 6 weeks=30 business days(42 regular days) Maybe there is another why to expedite this process? I just want make sure they got and accept my paperwork. If something wrong and I will get that big, it's also good that I can make change and send that back. Or I am thinking refile 1 more time, but after I am wondering how things will go with duplicate forms. Or maybe it would be better to file online, because I have all my forms copy with me. thanks

Hi guys! Do you know if it’s mandatory to use your legal name (married name changed on my marriage certificate with husbands last name) or it’s optional and you’re allowed to use your maiden name on the forms?? This brings complications in my country if I get my green card under married name, I have to change my passport and other documents
