Omg. Funny that you were looking in NZ. I stumbled over your channel cause im trying to figure how to buy land and build with basically no budget. well i have to lend i guess. Better than paying 400 per week for a shared space in a uninsulated house 🙈

Thats crazy dude, I'm looking to move to NZ soon and I want to build prefab so been looking into it. I'm looking around the top of the South Island in an area called Marlborough Sounds, it's beautiful. My plan is to get a nice big chunk of bushland by the ocean and just drop out, become a wild man lol. What I like about prefab is no down time due to weather and the tolerances are far tighter than a site build. Ill be basing my build off some of the BCH builds which I think are pretty awesome, I'll just modify to suite my needs. I like the idea of smaller but higher quality, I don't need a butlers pantry and a cinema room and all these spaces that never get used.

Agreed. We really fell in love with Christchurch. Beautiful city and I can live by the surf ;)

Loved this! One question I had was how do these pre fabbed homes factor into the actual value of the property? If i spend 499k on a DEN Cabin plus the property and prep costs and all in im say 650k-750K on this property will the property actually appraise for that much with these prefabs being generally smaller?

Got the same question 😅

Same opinion✅

Ignorance abounds. Most people don't understand these are turn key as well. Then things like downgrading appliances can alter the price. Everyone thinks smaller homes, tiny homes & prefabs should be cheaper. I say go build it yourself then.
@pentrubarbati9 ай бұрын
Thanks for explaining but still i think this modular homes are expensive because of greed and hipsters who buy anything at any price because they make them look good ...
@KaiAndrew9 ай бұрын
For sure. But I doubt hipsters' wallets could support such a large industry...:)
@thomasrozier79495 ай бұрын
Your right. If that was the case then why is the "cheap" mobile home he showed 350,000 right now. But yet a stick built that's bigger and better is the same price. I just looked at that exact same mobile home at 3 places yesterday

If I hear one more KZbin Creator complaining about people in the comments I'm going to lose my mind. These amateur influencers getting worked up and making fun of the people that support their Channel😂😂 Bro lol come on guy
@KaiAndrew9 ай бұрын
Lol, what? Not complaining at all. Setting the record straight to the uninformed. And posting ignorant or incorrect comments does help with interaction, but I'd rather not have it. I'm that type of "amateur influencer." Quality or quantity, Bob. ;)
