Yes, balance is key - as well as trying new things and further discovering yourself. We must remind ourselves that we are not static and our ikigai grows and evolves with us as we engage with the world in new ways! The things you go through are somehow very aligned with what I go through on a daily basis, day and night. I'm very narcissistic, and that is just another form of deep-rooted insecurities. I have this need to be the best at what I do, the best in the world in fact, to fulfill my purpose. In that pursuit of change, I keep looking for a perfect, crystal-clear mindset upon which I can build a strong foundation and continue on my journey. Was watching Creator Support's latest upload, "How we make KZbin videos" and I saw you in it! They mention you as someone who helps them with thumbnails, which I'm guessing means they pay you to help strategize/develop/design thumbnails as a service. That's cool! I'd love to see a video from you about how you help them with, or what your process is because I'm struggling to find my "thumbnail" identity right now. I'm rolling with the colorful gradient that is kind of a glow, but I may try something simpler and clean...

Very relatable on being really inspired by the people you watch and trying to be them. Watching other youtubers that I really like my mind tends to think "oh I wonder what it feels living their KZbin channel/ life". For example I started watching Jacob Collier KZbin channel and it really inspired me how great of an artist he is and how kind and humble he is to people. I start to fantasize how great it would be to be more artsy etc. This is something to think about

I've a thing to say to you Jay I love your videos, everyone of them But My suggestion is it would be better if you focus more on creating videos you like rather than thinking about KZbin and making videos about KZbin... Just my observation as a third-party

At one time I uploaded to keep the hamster wheel going and it lost all satisfaction. I upload because I love to teach others what I have learned sometimes as I am learning it. I also get a thrill from the process. I decided when I burned out previously, I would continue doing this while it was fun and if it stopped, pivot from what is the friction point. That is why I upload and why I livestream.
