@@Dylan-bm1jn it's a lot different than that. We need a better comprehension here. It's not about emotions. It's about presence of mind. And impulses, urges, compulsions. It's more on the psychiatric side. Some people really need help with their behaviour. Not only pure emotions, it looks like something like obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) a real behavioral issue that can be treated but is indeed a pathology. (Different types of OCD) this is not only about '' having emotions ''
@celinee.95625 жыл бұрын
I apologize to anyone who feels i didn't pay justice to OCD sufferers when doing a comparison with this guy's case. I do not have a panoramic view of all possible diagnosis, he might receive another diagnosis than Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, obviously. It's always difficult to judge what disorder it can be at first. Trained psychiatrists normally do NOT label people with a diagnosis after only one hour of consultation. Also there could be overlaps between diagnosis, it's sometimes a spectrum. A better compréhension is needed for this guy knowing himself better, and experiencing what can help him not hurting himself or others. Be safe, take care. Xxx

Here is the problem, the parents took that bible literally. The bible did help and God gave this child the amazing wisdom to know right from wrong. Something that his parents should have recognized as Gods sign. This is my opinion: "do not discard the bible by the values of inability to see its truth. Use the bible to live your truth." God showed them the way, gave them a chance to see it but they chose to ignore that with their own perception in mind. The parents just failed to listen to the innocence in his admittance and Gods mercies that their child had through the knowledge of his problem. So, they refused to accept his truth.......unfortunately it happens too much that people are losing faith in Christianity

@@graememacleod4651 Yes so the bathroom doors do lock... they can just be unlocked too. Medical staff & security sometime have keys but that is more for rooms which have medical equipment & medicine in them. In most places where a patient will be staying for a short period of time, like the emergency department, outpatients or wards where inpatients are, they tend to not have keys on bathroom locks, they just have a twist lock on the inside & the outside can be opened by using a coin or a curved tool staff carry on a keyring. This prevents anyone from blocking the keyhole & a the door can quickly be opened in an emergency. The only places where a bathroom/toilet door would not have a lock is either if the patient was trying to hurt themselves or kill themselves, even then they are often locked in a room for their own safety. Or if they were an inpatient with particular psychological problems where they have proven to commit dangerous actions in a bathroom they may lose the privilege or privacy, this is very rare though.

Why do some people think that sex is only for reproductive purposes?
@brokenandcraked5 жыл бұрын
Because of their religion or cultural views.
@nicoleengel5435 жыл бұрын
Biologically seen it is. That’s why we also have menstruation because your body is preparing for a baby and if you didn’t get pregnant everything has to go out. But nowadays society actually is that far that we don’t need it for reproduction anymore or at least we do it not for reproduction only. (Sry for my English. I’m not native)
@SendarSlayer5 жыл бұрын
@@nicoleengel543 Many animals with higher intelligence also masturbate and have sex for pleasure, not procreation. In fact dolphins will rape other dolphins and use dead fish as masturbation tools, as humans we have empathy and enough understanding to have the concept of consent. Biologically, as intelligence increases the usage of sex shifts.

This is exactly my point. We ask for help (people with mental health issues of any kind) and nobody wants to, or the few who do can't for whatever reason, then we do something we begged for help to prevent and they say "if only we'd known" or "they should've seen someone"

I'm a Christian and I can vouch that I have come across many parents just like that. (Please read further) It's really sad to see teens go through puberty and have their parents treat them like they crawled up out hell itself. This is the time they need you the most, cause remember if you are not there for them others will be and there is no guarantee that those people have your child's best interest at heart. To all parents out there remember when you went through a time like that, that's the same thing your kids are going through. You cannot expect your kids to magically control desire when you yourself went along with every urge you had as a teen. In the very least your kids are better than you ever was cause they admit their faults and try to do better, when all you did was claim how right you were. Teach them to accept that these feelings are natural and use wisdom to deal with it. Use your life experiences and show them how human you are. Show them that you experienced the same thing and instead of telling them it's wrong to do certain things explain to them the consequences of those actions. For example: this kid in the video, instead of the parents acting the way they did. Tell him,son these feelings and thoughts are perfectly normal, but you shouldn't act on them cause although the feeling of pleasure in the moment is amazing the probability of you ruining your life is high. 1.You could become a father at a young age, which will set your life back by many years. You would not be able to reach the level you want to reach because you will have a child who you will have to feed and clothe and send to school. You will have a wife/partner you will have to take care of. OR 2. If not that you might get a STD cause by your partner or multiple partners and in the future when you finally meet someone you want to spend your life with, how are you going to have a physical relationship with that person knowing you have this disease. Waiting till you are older is better not because of religion but because your brain would have developed to a point where you can make these important decisions. Wisdom doesn't come from just reading the Bible, but through life lessons and you cannot expect a 17 year old to understand what you at 46 years of age finally through hard life lessons understand. Don't threaten them. Don't judge them. Use wisdom and Inspire them Love them Protect them And pass on what you know so they don't need to spend years figuring out. And one day the lessons that learn they can pass to their children. Lots of love ♥️♥️♥️

I have to hope that if you get to most of these future offenders early, that there is a chance that someone who would have been hurt, wasn’t hurt and traumatised because the person who would have committed that crime had the bravery to say, “I don’t want to hurt somebody, I need help” It doesn’t always work, but I’d assume it’s like most things, the earlier these thoughts and behaviours are challenged the more likely you are to prevent another predator from going out and attacking people.

Perfectly said, they ignored Gods reply when there child knew his problem before he could act on it. Stoke those fires, kiddo. Because being a doctor is the best and worst job ever. It's not like on the show. Most of your patients aren't like this. You can't get to them, you can't save them. Sometimes it's too late to do anything, sometimes they don't comply and things get worse, sometimes you do everything perfectly and you still lose the patient. You get blamed, you might get sued. The worst part is hospital policy and healthcare policy in your country might seriously contradict your morals or limit you from actually helping people. But in the end, it's all worth it. To know you helped someone. I salute you for choosing this profession and wish you the best of luck, maybe we'll work together someday. There's a cliché saying about medicine - It will ask of you everything, and you must be ready to give it up gladly.
