Uhh...moving polys is NOT the calculation / delay cost at all. This happens in literally fractions of a second. The 99.9% of the time is consumed by casting light into those virtual worlds and determining based on "materials" as Blender 3D would call it, the "type" of bounce, absorption, etc that should occur and how based on additional lighting, lens configurations and perhaps motion blur after effects should that light ray be made visible. It is not poly morphing or positioning.
