Bryan, I would have been more than happy to help you with this problem but unfortunately you second comment came in and I was not at all amused. So now you can put your hat in your hand see if someone else will help you because I won't. Don't be a Dick. Nobody likes a Dick.

Thanks for the video. Recently replaced purge pump on a CS-400 that idled fine until the air filter cover was put on. Left turned the screw up top, but like you say, the low and high screws must need to be adjusted on my saw for whatever the reason. Maybe a new carb is needed, but maybe I should mess with the low and high. I know I havent touched either since purchasing 15 years ago. Must be set on factory still.

@cbdyna Good morning. My video is like many others in respect that it points out solutions to a problem that is specific. Please diagnose your problem before carb adjustment. I E: fuel filter is free and clear. No breaks in the fuel line. New purge bulb lines are not backwards, fuel screen in carb is not clogged etc. If your saw was running well before you made any changes double check the easy stuff first. That's what I would do. Good luck my friend. 👍

Thanks. My CS 490 just started doing this and I was worried that I was going to have to replace the clutch or something. I'll try this and see if it fixes the problem.

Echo is not famous for their clutch life longevity. Don't rule it out. I have another video that shows that. Let me know if you need the link to that👍.

HOW TO: This is the formula for troubleshooting videos. 1. Tell me what the issue is in under 1 minute. 2. Tell me what I need to do to resolve in under 1 minute 3. Explain the Issue in 2 - 3 minutes 4. Walk me through the steps on how to resolve. Stay on point....step 1, step 2, step 3....

Bryan, this isn't that type of channel. Thanks for the insight tho. I love all the content you produce using your formula tho. Oh wait, nevermind. 😂🤣😂🤣
