Good stuff as usual. You've got the same Plano cutters as me. I find them handy for cutting the SMT caps to remove them from cct boards.

@NorjiLab-bw3tu Those caps are on the 5 volt supply rails near the MX7541 ADC , I have not got the values on my schematic but they look like 330uf size

@@DetectorMods What type and voltage would suit ?
@DetectorModsКүн бұрын
@ low ESR electrolytic as long as it’s a 10 volt or higher and the the more uf the better, just get something that fits, and do not install the wrong way around.

@@DetectorMods Thanks for that . Will the polarity be marked on the bottom of the cap as I fear the white epoxy wont come off to see anything on the cap or board.

I'm wondering if the epoxy paint reduces the heat dissipative characteristics of the components and contributes to reduced lifespan.

There are limits on how far you can stretch out the pulses.

Im a gen y , and for some reason since i began in trade industry since 2004 atleast the quality of components has become delapitated to a point as an australian consumer our market legally has to give minimum 1 year warranty. Anything ive dealt with newage technology exposed to uv radiant heat goes to s..t. The bisphenol A in plastics must leach or etch a superficial residue over circuits to short out. New Nano technology they are coating a graphene film over circuits to seal somewhat. Whats everyones thought!
