Im a recovering drug Addict and alcoholic....I was tormented as a sinner and still have some issues today. I had a dream the other night that demons were invading my bedroom and dreams...it's like they were ripping into the walls of my conscience being.. it felt like they were entering my mind, literally coming through the walls of my dream....I woke up screaming the name of the most high. When the "j" came out of my mouth, I was just feet away from being attacked....and by the time the "s" came out, I was fully awake with an immediate sensation of protection, and it amazes me the power in just his name. Power that makes demons flee at once! It's the relationship you have that gives that power when you speak it. It's a child calling on his father ...we know how a father love is for his child. They fear even his name! In the Bible they say to Jesus, have you come to torture us before the time? ( the time being when God cast them into the lake of fire to be tortured and tormented for eternity)....and they know who his Children are too. The Bible says no man comes to father BUT by ME!

I traveled and been to many countries, thank God! One thing I noticed was wherever I traveled whether Vietnam, Germany, Italy, Mexico; when people stub their toe, they blaspheme Jesus name! Not Muhammad, not Buddha, not Yahweh, not these thousands of Hindu gods, not Hercules, not Captain America, not Nimrod, they blaspheme Jesus name! unfortunately, that's how I realized every person will not only kneel to that name, they will fall on their faces before that name! I believe it also has to do with who we say Jesus is. In the first century, people had a first name, followed by something indicating who or where they were from, or what they did, i.e. John the Baptist, Mary (from) Magdalene, Simon son of Jonah, etc. Therefore the "Name of Jesus" is: Christ/Messiah, Son of God, Son of Man, the Lamb who was Slain, etc. So when we call on Jesus Biblically, we call on everything He is.

Thank you for sharing, sir. "But" I wish to explain something: 11:32 = There is something "POWERFUL" about the Name of Jesus. It is all about knowing how to remove the "safety" from your gun. (Remove the safety then you will know the power behind the gun). More, the Name of Jesus is more than a gun, it is a self-targeting weapon. IT IS A SEED(Word of GOD). Also, humbly, I think magical is not the appropriate word seen the fact that it does not operate at the same level. Be blessed!

You must remember that the "Catholic Church": held " The Holy Bible " in their possession for decades . They changed the name of " YAHUSHUA " to "Jesus ". They changed many things in the bible . We must totally depend on "Holy Spirit " to teach us His Word . Holy Spirit will lead the "truth seekers" to the correct history of His Word and speak to us as we read the scriptures .

Praying in the Name of Jesus, praising the Name of Jesus, creates faith in whose name we are praying. Jesus, our Lord, was God in the flesh and because he ransomed us and the sacrifice was acceptable to God the Father that He had given the Son the right to with the Father, to raise Himself with the Father from the dead. The Spirit which is sent to us by both, Father and Son, testifies that this is so. Our prayers are in whose name? Mary’s? NO! Jesus is CREATOR?REDEEMER. He has given us the name above all names and the right to know God directly in HIS NAME.

Jesus is the Greek form of the Hebrew name Yeshua. Same with Christ. "Christos" is the Greek form for the Hebrew "Messiah" . All this is because the new testament where written in greek. Nobody called Him Jesus while he lived. Everybody called him Yeshua. But it is Ok to say Jesus. Everybody knows who we talk about.
