We must pray that the Lord Jesus will lift the "veil" that blinds our Jewish elder brother. 2 Cor 3:14 says, "But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ." Context discussions will be of no avail.

@24:32 I guess this error in thinking comes due to Christian translations. Because the Jews did not suffer FOR the gentiles but BECAUSE of them. Here's a better translation from chabad: "But he was pained because of our transgressions, crushed because of our iniquities;" God punished the Jews by scattering them among the nations. They suffered because of the transgressions of their oppressors. So there is no contradiction.

Isaiah 53:2 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. Not what people think he should look like. The message was most important.

Question. If the context of Isaiah 40-66 is about to returning Israelites, why randomly throw a chapter in about the Messiah 500 years later? Shouldn't we say that it is at least also about the nation of Israel. Prophecy "referred" to Israel and then was "fulfilled" in Jesus (to use your own terminology from elsewhere)?

Mainstream Christians miss: not seeing, believing, and understanding that Isaiah 53 has significance, that is, a reference for the period he is describing (Israel's exile and return) is tantamount to declaring that the prophet Isaiah was a false prophet. The principal in the New Testament is "as what Isaiah described and happened, so with Jesus". Fulfillment in the sense of parallels, types and anti-types.

Easy to argue against the Rashi misinterpretation of Isaiah 53 Isaiah is quoting Exodus 12, 13, and 14 all throughout Isaiah 52 - he is introducing the Passover Lamb - the new Prophet like Moses who was called Gods Servant. Isaiah 52:10 and 53:1 clearly tell us this servant in Isaiah 53 is the *Arm of the Lord* - no guessing needed. The *HE* refers to the Arm of the Lord revealled in Isaiah 53:1. People just need to read Exodus 12, 13, and 14 and see that Isaiah is referring to a new Exodus which means Isaiah 53 can only refer to Israel's redemption through the redeemer/Arm of the Lord of Isaiah 59:16-20. Case closed - Rashi was a corrupt polemic cult leader. Also note, that the Israel Rabbis make good money to keep their lie going. If they admit Jesus is the Messiah, they are out of high paying jobs. Research their net worth (Around 250k + per year).

Just and FYI-Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe Jesus is a God. They believe he is the son of God, not part of the Trinity. They believe he was created in Heaven as the archangel Michael and when born on Earth, he was not a God, but a human sent to fulfill a prophesy and in return will be a king to sit on the right hand of God

If the jewish interpretation is correct, then WW2 Germany didn't get the Memo, and Iran didn't get the memo. Hezbollah didn't get the memo. Islam didn't get the memo. Here the two verses: For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. Romans 11:25 And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: 14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. 15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. 16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. 2.corinthians 3:13 God has put a veil over the jews until enough gentiles have converted to christianity.
