I LOVE THAT! "Take the math out of it" One of the main things I didn't like about video editing after years of doing it, and the main reason I am finally switching over to Resolve from Premiere can be summarized by that statement right there haha. I get tired of reinventing the wheel every single project, I want it to be fun and be able to achieve the idea with a single prebaked effect rather than having to manually animate and keyframe stuff for the thousandth time. Quickly realized after using Resolve for a few weeks now why everyone is able to produce so many effects/transition filled videos these days with fast turnaround times.

@@spencertorok I'm having an absolute field day creating power bins for my multiple channels and their unique graphics branding right now. No more searching through my drives for the same 10 resources and recreating the same exact animated titles I use in every single video.

Wow, super time saver! I use the overlay circle with my talking head cam and I always do that with the alpha channel in the color grading area and I always hated it because then I need to go back to the clip and move it around... you basically have to go back and forth for something that should be done in one place. I'll be using the collage now. thanks!

My favorite took when it comes to making reels. If I ever want to “sneak peek” stuff I shot vertically it’s my go to!

Yup definitely an underrated tool! Do you know of a way to "save" a specific preset? So far I've just Copy Pasted the way I have it set up from a template clip.
@spencertorok

Yeah, that would be the way I would guess. Maybe put it on an adjustment layer, and then save it to your powerbin for easy access.

Can I ask, if you apply the split-screen to the top clip, is there a point of copying (opt+v) the plugin to the bottom clip? Great vid!

if you're only running a split screen you're right, not much a need to apply it to both clips. I just do it out of habit honestly
