I can’t wait to try this thing on a Wobble head too

Hey Tyler, just getting to your video. I use a super finesse free fig, no more than 1/8 oz. and have gone 1/16th also. Two weeks ago I got a 5.2 lb. largemouth on a 4 1/2" roboworm in oxblood. Like you said, she hit on the way down and in fact just crushed hit. I use spinning gear for this technique and thus the lighter baits/weights but definitely can see it working with larger creature baits and tackle on baitcasting gear. Great video and thanks for sharing the info, I also saw Shin Fukae's videos when this technique was introduced and tried it back then, extremely versatile.

That’s awesome glad it’s working for you!

Been killing them on this lately and the Decoy weights are awesome and slide down super fast.

They do work well! Thanks for watching!

As my mentor would say "Shut the fk up, we gotta keep some secrets, it's how we stay in business". LoL Normally I wouldn't ever say this, but I'm glad you're not a big channel. That's a real secret you're giving away. That one isn't for everybody. I really enjoy your videos. No offense intended, but please don't give away real secrets. I waited a year gaining trust to earn this secret. It changed my entire trajectory.

I got a lot more secrets this one’s been out for a while. Appreciate the comment and thanks for watching.

@@TylerBrinks ya. It has. But it's been pretty well guarded. I'd far rather you out the Damiki rig or the inuri rig. Lol. I don't consider those my secret weapon. Good video, man. Us old schoolers are a bit cantankerous. We get agitated easy then we talk without thinking. You did right. Everybody has the right to know about it.

How well does that rig do in grassy areas?
@TylerBrinks8 ай бұрын
About the same as a Texas rig

Because the Texas rig exists

It does fall differently, I was skeptical at first. Thx for watching!

I use it a lot with a small Berkley Gilly and a Bellows Shad. They do that death roll spiral going down and absolutely kills them. I caught about a 6 pounder a couple of weeks ago that had the entire tail of a pretty big bluegill sticking out of it throat and it still ate that Bellows shad.

That sounds good. Gonna try it with the gilly!

Because I don't want other people using it.

I guess I don’t see a difference in this rig vs an unpegged Texas rig.
@TylerBrinks8 ай бұрын
Similar, but different. Give it a shot.
@barryhowell98 ай бұрын
Biiiig difference, but ya have to let that slack run out, then maintain a controlled slack line

Never tried it. Do you think 6" lizard or baby brush hog would work and be just as effective?
@TylerBrinks8 ай бұрын
I do. Try it and let me know how it works out!

I disagree. Everyone is talking about the Free-rig. You got The Hook Up Tackle constantly talking about it. Tactical Bassin is talking about it, and so on and so on. Steve Roger's video showing underwater footage with different style baits is a great video.

Still for being this long it’s till not talked about as much as other techniques in my opinion. Thanks for watching!

EVERYONE talks about it. Pffft

I'd rather you DIDN'T talk about it lol. Totally different presentation that the texas rig and great for deeper smallmouth for me.
