I love this! My fiancé and I have a 7 month engagement- with now less than 7 weeks to go until the wedding. I completely agree that engagement is hard, it takes patience for sure. We are also Christian and committed to waiting until marriage, and no lie- that’s not an easy thing to do, but we know that it will be 1000% worth the wait. Finances have been a somewhat easy one for us because my man loves to be organized with accounts and is committed to being able to set us up well so we don’t have too much stress in the future. In the grand scheme of things, engagement is such a short period of time when you consider all the years you’ll spend together married 😊 it’s a time filled with anticipation.

If your engagement is so stressful, why did you decide to have a short one? I’m really loving being engaged. It’s a pretty magical time and I haven’t been experiencing any of this. My engagement will be almost 2 years though.

My husband and I cut our engagement season short because we realized that it was just this waiting season and felt it was so much worse than dating to be honest haha especially since we were waiting to be married to really start our lives together (sex included) sooo yeah cut it short and we don’t regret it. Engaged for 5 months and we were married and still married ☺️

You guys are cute, but the video should be titled "Why our engagement sucks!" Sounds more of a personal issue vs a general one. I've been engage for over a year, when I get married it will be 2 years. Reason being is we wanted to be financially ready for a wedding, starting a new life and wedding. Our engagement is our honeymoon phase. Don't invest in a mortgage when you have a wedding to pay, don't have a joint account without having a stand alone account as well, enjoy this time and do not stress...that is what marriage is for.

Dani and Austin just thought I should let you know, that KZbin is supressing some of your subscribers specifically with your birth vlog, their claim is that your video or videos are made for "kids" and so they have chosen to block post notifications, saving your videos, downloading them whenever someone wants to, not allowing them to comment and the mini player is purposefully made to stop playing. I think its Google suppressing freedom of speech and liberty; if I was in your position I would express my dissatisfaction and disappointment and anger with their war on all U.S. citizens and young adults and kids. Its been getting bad lately.
