Cut the cord and bought an antenna about 7 years ago, because most of my favorite shows were on regular TV. Love ION, Comet and CBS.❤ Still have Netflix, Paramount and Prime. Roku Live TV and Pluto offer over 200 channels.

Antenna is the way to go! But what no one is talking about is the interference from 4G/5G towers. I like in the state capital, and all I get, at a constant rate, is PBS. Occasionally I get CBS and sparingly NBC. But to get them all. You need multiple antennas. Thoughts?!

Televes smartkom is what you need. It filters 5g and is the best way to combine multiple antennas (up to 3).

I get about 40 channels with antenna. HD digital channels. It's not like the old days. NO fuzzy static on screen.

Rather have a snowy picture than none at all. In major cities the broadcasts barely make it out of their confines, sometimes inside the cities there is no contact. Increase strength? Probably would fry their neighbors. Not the old days. Crosley radio station in Cinci could be picked up in Alaska as well as farmer's barb wire fence outside town. That old joke about dental work picking up signals is not inaccurate.

Also Paramount + and Peacock Premium Plus offer your local CBS and NBC channels live in case your antenna doesn’t work for those channels.

Verry good Question I too am questioning. how long before we ho chaching.. heard rumors atsc 3.0 fox abc will be making us pay over the air sub channels disney espn content scary. betchya streaming services will be effected to with DRM encrypted tv

It will always be free. No plans to change it. Now the major sports component is the main issue. How long will it be before games are only on paid streaming services. Maybe free ones but with a ton of ads.
@martinphillips4567Күн бұрын
@fsb5370 my friend, I wish 🤞 that was true. But the fcc doesn't seem to be hinting the future heading in that direction. Every thing seems to dictate they will make us pay for This product. Everything seems to be heading behind a pay wall 🧱

ION OTA is also the same stream across Plex and Amazon Prime and others.

I get better images with my antenna than from Sling. Why are they forcing me to get traditional networks by streaming! (I am also ticked to be forced to pay for all of Disney to get ESPN).

For sure, the picture quality that you get with an antenna is far superior than anything else. This is because the video is not (supposed to be) compressed. Best quality you can get for TV.

I've wanted a rooftop antenna for years. I have not found anyone to mount it.

I have an indoor antenna and get 9 channels and main one like CBS, NBC and Fox. ABC I only watch for sports and have streaming for

What is a good DVR to use with an antenna?
@gildaslefur24352 күн бұрын
I would recommend the SiliconDust HDHomerun Flex Duo (2 tuners) or HDHomerun Flex Quatro (4 tuners). They provide their own DVR software. However, as an extremely happy customer, I would strongly suggest Channels DVR to complement your hardware purchase. There is a small subscription fee but it's definitely worth it. I don't get anything by recommending it.

There is literally no point to using an antenna in a rural community. It's satellite or Internet TV once cables gone
