I think that's the beauty of it, we can't judge a compilation album the same way we judge a solo artists album. edit: or a producer's album (they tend to have a consistent sound and incorporate artists that would complement that.)

I think the rollout was too weak cole is a director with a huge platform he could've made an album trailer atleast also I dont think any of the artists on the album said anything about it. When i first saw the music videos with the suits and yellow theme i was confused but eventually just assumed it was for a lyrical lemonade project, it was never clearly marketed

Me personally, I think Cole should’ve attempted a album concept movie like Pink Floyd’s The Wall or Daft Punk’s Interstellar 5555, where every song on the album had its own music video that were all connected to be like a full movie

Would be virtually impossible to slip this many artists and videos into his schedule and then also direct and produce them, not to mention pay for it all, no where near worth it or practical. Didn’t listen to the album till right now and listening to “This My Life” gave me nostalgia and goosebumps. Skies and Tecca both going back to their original sounds is what we need. They’ve both kinda fallen into that mainstream sound trying to get streams and that’s why they are falling off. It wasn’t their best piece of work but it’s a step in the right direction for both of them and I really hope they continue. Especially Skies

A lot of over analyzing and over thinking from the community. What is difficult is when helloyassine said his view of the album was tainted before listening to it, when he heard negative opinions from people he DOESN’T care about it. If you’re in tune with the community from when a lot of this music started (no not finding out about Lyrical Lemonade last year), then you should appreciate the fact that this album is even possible. Cole Bennet is the individual to make this possible and make this happen. This is a piece of art you have to respect period. Unless you’re not a supporter of Hip Hop in general, then focus on your genre of preference.🌎‼️

he's been teassing the album for about a year and a half now, Cole originally said it was meant to drop in 2022 summer/fall then kept pushing it back untill he offically dropped the first track of the album, "doomsday". He's also stated that he made the album up of music he enjoys and music that the fans aren't gonna be too crazy about it

Since I was cool with the owner of the store he let me in the party since there was a list to get in and I was drunk af and saw Cole and walked up to him and we talked he was really cool.

tbh i really enjoyed the singles leading up to it, obviously juice with doomsday, im from the UK so loved the dave song but the bars probably went over americans heads with the accent and lingo. I think it flopped because the sound in general is that of a few years ago and people are quick to hate on something if it isn’t experimental or trendy right now. I didn’t love the album but i liked 4/5 songs in total and i’d listen to another album like this, i’d rather a friday with this dropping than a friday with nothing

No one can really say whether this album is good or bad. It’s just a collection of songs with artists whose two worlds wouldn’t usually collide. Enjoy it for what it is. I think the most important part is the visuals that will take place as cole is a director after all. So far he’s killed it.
