I went to the dating apps to understand pinay dating culture...interesting. "Fun" doesn't mean the same thing as in the US. Nor does "opened-minded". Took a while to understand some of that. Goal digger? What? And a LOT of scammers who play the long con. But they all use the same script. "Babe, dear, honey, can you buy me load? My baby has never had a birthday present. My Mom is sick." It was good research for my new novel. But boots on the ground is the best plan. Talk soon, Sam.

Anytime a Filipina asks you for money for stuff when you're not yet married, take that a a RED-FLAG! In our culture, we only go to relatives or our God-parents for financial help. Its considered bad form to ask people outside the "family" for personal stuff. Its a different story if you offer to help though you might find yourself "napa-subo" or stuck in a situation thats hard to get out of.

From Dumaguete you just catch a RORO ferry ( if you have a car or scooter) if you don’t. Just ride the FastCat. It’s about a 45min ride to Siquijor port. Then it’s a 30min ride or drive to San Juan. Just ask the drivers to take you there. It’s very well known.

We are in the same boat. I actually called and apologized to my 2nd wife ( Filipina ) 7yrs after our divorce. She iwas married at the time. We are friends now. But the memories of the type of person she was had a lot to do with why I came to the Philippines almost 16yrs ago. She and RAZEL, has alot of similarities

Bar girls are the same all over the world, you have fun with them i did in my younger years but you never date them. Being older now at 51 i am not going to hit the bar scene nor clubs, i have been out of this life for more than 20 years. I also have been single for 10 years now, and i need my active women if i ever meet one. I love hiking, swimming and keeping fit she needs to get into the bandwagon. For me 25 is way to young, i need her to be at least 30.... life experience.

@@SAMLAMB I found a great Filipina but she was to quick after 1 week she was already seeing us married, thing is i am taking care of my mother right now she is 80, i can't leave everything like that, i also have pets that i care for. I am 51 but would retire around 60 if i can. This is why i got off the online dating sites and facebook groups to meet Filipina i don't want to waste their time. I rather meet live when i do move there.

Why do 50+ years old men think dating 18-25 women is normal. I can promise you the only reason a lady that much younger is gonna be with you is for money or access to a better life. You guys are sad, pitiful excuses for men. The guy says he has a daughter 34 and he wants to date a 25 years old girl. Really sad
