Support characters make or break end game content. Fu Xuan and her banner is really good. If you skipped Luocha then you'll want Fu Xuan. The limited banner Abundance and Preservation units are LEAGUES better than the standard banner characters. You're trolling yourself if you don't pull for 1 or 2 STRONG support units

This. I'm glad I didn't see this video before pulling for her on a whim, and getting her well under pity (even better than I did with kafka which was like 40 pulls). I've been f2p since the second month or so, but took a fair bit of time off. I had no other 5* support units, and now having Fu Xuan with her damage distribution and auto-healing has started to be invaluable. So far I rarely even need a dedicated healer, especially with Preservation MC. I'm probably not playing like I "should" be, focusing on too many characters, swapping them out when I need different weaknesses breaks, but it took me a while to get used to the game and its meta (within f2p constraints) and maybe now I can focus more on building up two specialized teams. I still think I could use more support going forward, I'm considering building up Asta, or pulling for Tingyun, until another 5* support comes around (although Topaz is tempting for being quite well-rounded, and would go well with Kafka who is one of my main damage dealers). TL; DR I really needed a high tier support character, having focused mainly on damage in the first half of the game, and it's helped me focus more on strategy across the board.

This is where I judge a book by its cover.. There is no way you should skip Fu Xuan as f2p. She is easily one of the most tankiest of tank characters I have ever seen. Her buffs are great. I haven’t even looked at her kit much but off a slight glance I can tell she is meta breaking. Don’t skip f2ps!! Even try to aim for eidolons EDIT: GO FOR HER LIGHT CONE BEFORE EIDOLONS THAT THING IS BEYOND GOOD

yep, with one single banner, you can easily fulfill all your needs for sustain units for BOTH your teams for MoC in one go, and not only that, but their play styles will actually allow you to unlock certain synergies that wouldn't be possible before. Everybody is so excited about using Lynx in combination with blade....I for once, am more excited to try out a counterattack Clara team where I don't need to run March to increase her aggro, since everything else about March's kit goes completely against Clara's mechanics (freeze slowing down enemies, making them not attack and Clara not counter for example, is annoying AF and messes up the timings of the ultimates and so on), and the best part is, if I get tired of it, I can just take Clara out and replace her with literally any other Hypercarry, and Lynx will work with them just as much. Fu Xuan doesn't need to be a "meta breaking" character, this is still an absolute no brainer of a banner for F2P regardless even if she "just" performs on par with Luocha and/or Gepard.

Well, I have Gepard, but skipped Luocha. I currently have problems with my sustain capacity (only 1 team out of can clear without any trouble, the one I put Gepard in) ... So I don't see why as a F2p I should skip her, with her, I'll be able to skip any other sustain character for the coming year at least and have 2 fully fonctional sustained team. So I'll pull, and I recommand to any player in the same situation as me to do the same (u do what u want tho)

Pretty much me. Got Luocha and am still stuck with just him and Natasha as my healers and I wasn't lucky to get Gepard from a lost 50/50. Skipping Fu Xuan as a F2P is basically trolling yourself. She is objectively better than Gepard and Baily. If built properly, she is on par with Luocha in terms of team sustain and if the future content is harder than what we're getting, she makes your team immortal with 1 more sustainer. The fact that she is "flexible" and you find it problematic is wild... both Topaz and JL are shit from what we've seen so far, unless they significantly buff both of them (from meta pov) they are the easiest skips we've gotten so far. Also, most people don't have more than one sustainer atm, rocking Natasha, Fire MC, March7 and either Gepard or Bailu is not something F2P who started after Luocha's banner and even before that have if they pulled for Seele and Silverwolf. I'm not sure if this is rage bait, click/interactions generator or simple ignorance...

Actually JL has been massively buffed recently in beta - to the point where IL fans are whining. And Topaz kit looks amazing in my opinion. But I'm still getting Fu Xuan because waifu + 4* sustain units are bad and take up too much SP to do their job (I got spoiled by Luocha ez mode Honkai)

I know fuxuan was better but it's not like mihoyo will stop drop sustain in 1.5 there will be another sustain which could be on par with them so if you already have that 2 you can skip her pretty safe.

I'm curious what the big deal with mono quantum is. I have silver wolf and fu xuan, toying with the idea of pulling for lynx and seele, tho I also feel like I should try for FX's lightcone and then just save for a while, only pulling maybe for tingyun (a great support combo, but still leaves me with natasha as my only healer; maybe I'll get bailu at 300 standard pulls someday, or another 5* healer will come around).

If you run a Tingyun, Jing Yuan team, here are the things I can definitely attest to: Fu Xuan is great because she wil take damage dealt to *all allies* and give it to herself, removing Tingyun or any other squishy heroes' biggest weakness of being too squishy for late game content where enemies can easily oneshot allies. Fu Xuan will protect Jing Yuan's Lightning Lord from crowd control, Fu Xuan's trace talent protects *all allies* from crowd control effects albeit once per skill activation. If you play her ult energy regeneration correctly, you can make her virtually immortal (and by extension your whole team) with her talent by regenerating 90% of lost hp+heal from ult Point is, she is a great f2p option because of how she can greatly increase the survivability of your team from a lack of investment.

tl;dr - don't fall for clickbait titles and simply pull what makes sense for your account.... so if you have 3 other 5 star heal/sustain chars like gepard, luocha and bailu already you might not need fu xuan, duh.... if you did not pull for every sustain char or got them through lucky pulls than fu xuan and lynx might help you out a lot and be useful to you for quite some time....

If you really want a good sustain, save your jades, and skip FX. Save jades for Huohuo. She's the best offensive support. Attack buffs and energy for the team makes clearing moc fast. Why need cleanse or effect resist when the enemies are dead?

You can literally have numerous reasons why people can skip any character regardless of how broken they are. An example would be already having enough sustain and lacking dps, which would make sense to skip her and wait for a dps instead. These aren't definitive guides that say whether or not a character is broken but more on the reasons why it isn't worth for some people.

​@@YuriDSCif you want survivability then yes, my E2 Daniel team cleared 1 cycle against non imaginary weak enemy (MoC10 part 1) and 0 cycle against imaginary weak even with sustain character (Bailu) that's why i only need Huo Huo utility not her healing ability since i have no problems with survivability, i'd even prefer it if in the future there's a Harmony character with a bit healing ability.

Your reasons are pretty silly. Funny enough, you literally describe how great the banner is, and in effect you did more to argue against the point you were trying to make. pointing out how good the 4-stars are just makes it sound sillier to skip. Skip Lynx, the '2nd best healer in the game', because....? Yeah idk. This video is weird man. Your arguments suck too. Skip her because there's other good sustain units? I mean sure maybe if you have Luocha, you wont necessarily need her THAT much, but even compared to the other sustain units, she easily distinguishes herself. Firstly Gepard wont work with every team. Some teams *want* to take damage and consume HP, like Blade teams. He's also an ice unit which doesnt pair well with Clara, for instance. And his damage is also far from substantial or much of a DPS contribution. Bailu on the other hand provides great healing, and a revive. But.... Thats it. Contributes no damage, has no cleanse utility, and no buffs. She's a good sustain, but is great at specifically JUST healing your team. Natasha also has a lot of caveats and will only depreciate in value over time. Lynx on her own already seems like she will completely out-do Natasha. So bringing her up is a bit of a moot point. But Fu Xuan? Fu Xuan HEALS, AGGROS, BUFFS YOUR CRIT, GIVES RESISTANCE BUFFS, and she even can contribute potentially substantial damage on top of that. You would be crazy to skip just cuz you have a Gepard or Bailu. Those two are good, but they dont have the same range of utility as Fu Xuan seems to have. Then there is Mono-Quantum to consider. Fu xuan and Lynx will be absolutely ESSENTIAL to any mono-quantum team. Just as much as Silver Wolf is. Having either of them is a big deal because they will be our first Quantum sustains in the game. Overall, you proved your own point wrong. And ultimately the only valid reason you give to skip is if you intend to save for Jingliu or Topaz.

Skipping Fu Xuan that could be of the most broken support in the game and that is very unlikely to get powercrept giving she has damage reduction In a banner with an insane healer that will be a must for F2P players, as well as of the one strongest debuffers (Pela) All of that for future DPS characters that are more likely to get powecrept after some months. Unless you got all of the best sustain units in the game (Loucha,Gepard,Bailu) skipping Fu is a huge mistake for F2P and even that case the utility Fu Xuan offers is still insane.

Shut your trap lmao. Don't focus on getting 20 different dps. The hardest content right now is Swarm 5 which basically requires you to have fu xuan and another healer/shielder to clear comfortably. For MoC 10 you can basically just relax for sustainability issues for one half of the floor

I have alot of dd's like Seele, Blade, Kafka, but i "only" have Natasha and Gepard. To me it makes sense to pull for Fu Xuan. I have alot dd options but limited sustain options. On top i have Silverwolf and look forward to experiment with the mono quantum team in hard content with lynx and in general content even qq, Seele and SW with Fu Xuan. My qq is e6 and could work out. Also i kinda like Fu Xuan, even if i didnt like her attitude in the beginning of the story! ^^ And since i have Blade i really want a good Lynx in my Blade team. At best with some eidolons.

that's 2 solo sustain in one single banner, both of which are able to to perform different tasks and fit different playstyles. The only reason why you might consider skipping this banner would be if you already have Luocha, Gepard AND Bailu, and even then.... Anybody who doesn't have all 3 of them, they should ABSOLUTELY pull for this banner, ESPECIALLY if they're F2P. Fu Xuan being able to solo sustain would allow you to run much more offensive Harmony characters in a regular hypercarry scenario, or allow you to run a DoT team with Kafka, Sampo AND Luka, which, if you only have Natasha, would be a biiiiit too squishy. Also, Wanna talk about Counterattack Clara teams after replacing March 7th with Lynx? so you don't find yourself struggling with March freezing enemies which runs against Clara's main source of damage. Saying that "you get TWO sustain characters which you won't need" is absurdly reductive, especially if you're talking F2P, because having these two sustain characters with their respective kits will actually open up a TON more opportunities to mix and match whatever else you have in your account. I've had Clara forever, but I've never been able to use her because all the sustain units in the game so far have kits that actively conflict with hers, or are at best, neutral, and I had no way to properly boost the aggro on her without actively mess up other aspects of her playstyle, now I will finally actually be able to run her properly, and not only that, I don't even need a specific team comp, because if I want, I can replace her with literally any other hypercarry, because Lynx will work just fine with them too.

Do you think it's more worthwhile to try to pull Lynx (I already have Fu Xuan, got in well under pity), or FX's lightcone before the banner ends? Lynx would be good towards mono quantum, and I don't have any other support besides Fire MC and Natasha (and an underbuilt March 7th). But I'm also at like 70 pity from my last 5* LC pull, so I could at least run the 75/25 in just 1 or 2 ten pulls. Any insight appreciated. I'm gonna have to try that Sampo/Kafka/Luka/Fu Xuan team, since I've got them leveled up (and Kafka's LC procs wind shear). Thanks for the tip.

@@0v_x0 I'm running my Fu Xuan with "Day one of my new life"" light cone at superimposition 1 and she's still basically immortal. I run my Kafka-Sampo-Luka-FuXuan team in swarm disaster and completed it with basically any path up to difficulty 4, for difficulty 5 I swapped Luka out to replace it with Lynx (only at level 70 by the way) and completed it with both nihility and abundance paths (didn't try anything else yet)...I feel like it could still work without Lynx but with her you're a bit more on the safe side for the starting phase while you're still trying to pull for the right blessings, with Luka on you run the risk of getting wrecked if you end up in a prolonged battle early on. But considering how well she performs even just at level 70 I'd say definitely pull for Lynx. my plan for MOC is to run Kafka-Luka-Sampo-FuXuan for one team, Clara-Lynx-Tingjun-Yukong for the other team, I'm still building this second team but I cleared MOC5 with them still just at level 70 and with barely upgraded relics on Tingjun and Yukong, so when they're fully built I would expect them to do pretty well. I feel if your DPS is a bruiser type tanking most of the hits like Clara, Lynx should be able to solo sustain, especially if the rest of the team is generally SP positive/neutral so you don't need to worry about spamming her skill to increase that aggro, but I haven't tried it at the highest levels of MOC so I can't tell for sure. Also, I'll probably swap out Yukong for Topaz in this second team, because of her synergy with Clara's counter attacks, and I'm curious to try a Kafka-Topaz-Gueneifen-Gepard(with "Trend of the Universal Market" lightcone) just for the memes and because I have a Gepard that I'm slowly building on the side withouth any rush but I pulled some INSANE relics for him so it would be a shame not to xD But yeah, TL;DR, I'd say pull for Lynx, I was thinking about getting the preservation lightcone from the herta store for Fu-Xuan but honestly, with how well she's doing without it, I don't think I'll even do that at this point, I'd rather wait for more copies of this 4 stars for superimposition and call it a day :D

Ive been very lucky on my pulls as a f2p, but even with all the good units ive pulled sustain is the only problem i have. Pulled fu xuan, have luocha, and now im set for two teams solo sustain. Trying to make do with nat/fireblazer or nat/march just sucks. So much value in fu xuan for any accounts.

What is more important for me is that Fu Xuan is not just a sustain characters, she's jack of all trades: she will mitigate damage, increase health, provide buffs and will help avoiding crowd control attacks. She's exceptional. Even if they say she won't provide shields, it is not a problem since you can give her a light cone that creates the shield (say, Texture of Memories).

Telling people to go for DPS options instead of supports is horrible advice when you're speaking of turnbased that's prone to powercreep. Dps characters will always get powercrept (like how JY got powercrept by blade then blade got powercrept by Daniel and how daniel will be powercrept by Jibgliu) supports options are always more reliable and won't get powercrept as easily.

"You don't need..." Uh no, Bailu is mid af with her RNG healing. Even if she has good stats on her relics, a shielder would still be necessary for the difficult content. Sure, you can have Gepard, but why waste another team slot if you have a unit that can fill in for both roles at the same time? I'm f2p, and my relics are crap. I rely heavily on Fire MC to keep me alive, and they have been doing wonderfully. Fu Xuan is very much the similar, but very much better. That damage reduction is going to save me a lot with the one shot attacks, and that cc defense is so good. You have no idea how annoying it is to get crowd controlled. All that, and increased crit rate to top it all off. Considering all of that, why in the hell would you not pull for her if you don't have luocha or if your account is trash?
