This video is a shocking reassessment of what should be feminist prescriptions based on the premise of equality .

I absolutely loved your answer because I am the only person in my family and school who wears the hijab. So, I am naturally questioned about it by numerous people, and because of this it led me to write an oratory about how the hijab helps to further the feminist movement than the current feminist movement. Your answer really hit home. 👍

I swear, Mohammed, I be telling people this exact same thing, before I seen this video. A patriarchy wouldn't "trick" women into covering up.. They'd be doing what they're doing now, "tricking" women into taking off their clothes. Pornography, theater, advertisements, etc. Evil men would NOT ask woman to guard their modesty.

Mia Khalifa "Tell the believing men to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts. That is purer for them. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what they do." (24:30) They have a rule for the hijab as well. No human being on earth is stupid.

Mashallah you explained why us Muslim women wear the hijab so well I swear this is what I tried to explain to people the hijab should impower women and defiantly is and should be respected because we r not sexualizing our selfs but protecting our selfs and how men see us I've been on both ends and it defiantly makes a difference how men treat u but also the hijab is a reminder of Allah and our religion😊

I absolutely adore this brother, I think he is blessed Mashallah, but I'm so bored of this obsession with womens Hijaab, it seems like its all Muslims ever want to talk about, to the point where so many Muslim men, have no idea Hijaab even applies to them, if we must really keep talking about it, could we talk about Hijaab for everyone not just women... thanks

Brilliant insight as always brothers! What do we think Jesus peace be upon him would think to know that those who dress like his mother did and women around her are treated with prejudice, disrespect and aggression by many today. If a nun covers her head she is dedicated and if a muslim woman does it she is called backwards and oppressed shocking! The hijab is a symbol of chastity and purity, humility and God conciousness, a protection to minimise fornication and adultery major sins in islam. Sharia law is largely the ten commandments being implemented, it is a purification from sin, a deterent, a waiver of devine punishment and an aid to salvation. Sharia law punishment for fornication is one hundred lashes and death penalty for adultery, Sharia law punishment or divine punishments what would one prefer?

I dont think feminists are disliking this... I think any smart feminist will like this video... its probably some men who objectify women who are disliking this because they are afraid that women will deny them from seeing their hair, faces, bodies or outlines of the body.
