I have been using this hedging method for 5 weeks now. I am constantly in a 20%-30% drawdown( I have lots of open positions), but my equity up 10% and totally protected. Not bad for just beginning. Thanks for your help. By the way, it is annoying when the hedge gets hit and then the price turns immediately.

I'm new to trading, and I've lost a good sum trying out strategies I found in online tutorials. I would sincerely appreciate any recommendations you have.

I suggest Miss Stephanie Aaron Trentham is extremely good on that. She is really good on what she does, Now I can pay so many bills because of her help.

This is correct, Stephanie strategy has normalized winning trades for me also, and it's a huge milestone for me looking back to how it all started.

It doesn't matter if you are a current hodler or a newbie. You can capitalize on the fluctuation of Bitcoin by trading with good strategy/signals

Hi Chad, kudos on taking the time to make these videos. Looked like a relaxed and fun way to trade so I have been trying it in crypto pepetual futures and I'm killing it (no swaps fees and the funding fees are mostly none since it's hedged). Two quick questions: where did you learn about this trading strategy and could you point me in the direction where I could dive in further? Also, do you have something like a crypto address I could send you a tip? Cheers brother!

Would you say based on ur experience that it works better the way u do it with crypto rather than forex? 🔥

@@RC29972 i never done it with forex, so cannot compare, but the volatility of a shitcoin is perfect for it. the big ones like btc or eth not so much.

I know someone who does almost something like this since years ago. He just calls it different, no trimming but roll-off and things like that. I think his channel is called Trading Heroes. (note: I don't recommend you take his course. It's basically crap like any other trading course in the world) I have known this way of trading for quite a long time. I think that coastline trading by Gonçalo Moreira is the ancestor of this idea. But history doesn't really matter. This idea works as the author of this channel shows. I have no doubts about that because I did it myself for a while. I stopped using it because it required a lot of screening time and could not be automated. The rules for hedging, trimming, etc. are largely discretionary.

@1KickassVideo what crypto platform are you using that offers no swap fees?

the more time you dedicate into something the harder your bias for that thing becomes. You become too emotional when someone provides arguments about your system. Me personally i thought it was genius and since i started using it ive had 60% returns on my small account but after i talked with other trading buddies who are very smart I realized your system in fact doesnt provide anything useful. I tried explaining how before in other videos, you can go check that out. imagine a market that only and only went up and u sold and hedged, and trimmed. you would never win because hedging doesnt provide any edge. being in 1 buy position and 1 sell position is like having no positions. trimming is closing one of those and basically opening a the old one but at a lesser position size. u can do all that with stop losses

"imagine a market that only and only went up and u sold and NOT hedged" ... if you do the same trading you described without hedge you would lose even more. It was said multiple times before, You still need clean trades without activating the hedge.

"imagine a market that only and only went up" well that right there is what's wrong with your post

wait, you got a 60% return using this system and you dont find it useful?

@@hedgedtothehilt yes. returns over thousands of trades matter not 20 trades.

You're actually right in everything you say. The fact is that trading is very difficult because we (almost) always deal with a random walk data series. Therefore, no method which is purely based on data series can work. Simply put, a MACD indicator relies purely on the data series to do calculations. If you test it long term, you will find that 50% of cross up/down were successful and another 50% were not. That's random walking. That has been proven often enough. So you have to have something to ensure that you are profitable. The author of this channel uses Hedging as money and risk management to ensure that he remains profitable at the end. Ultimately it is about how much risk you can tolerate for x% profit. Because you will always have losses no matter which method you choose. For almost two years I used a strategy based on averaging with a lot of risks. In almost 2 years I have reached the max loss of 30% 3 times and booked at least 10% profit in all other months. At the end I had doubled my initial capital. You tell me, was it a good strategy or a bad one? It wasn't good for me anymore. Because one of 30% losses in the last few months has caused me to lose a lot of the gains and I was afraid it will happen again. That's why I didn't dare increase my capital. So something psychological and very personal. The author of this channel mainly focuses on money management and has no problem with drawdown. Because he has control over his risk and reward ;-) Unfortunately, this method cannot be quantified because it is largely discretionary, but I can say from my own experience that the method really works.
