This is truly underrated. A huge respect for raising such topics, because most of the internet does the opposite - it praises the disoriented self-indulgence, instills values that just slowly kill a person from the inside. I'm glad there are people like you on the web, and thanks for video

man i completely relate too I've been trying so hard to make a plan to learn a new thing or two but its been a month already and i have done nothing i feel so upset everyday but even then i end still not doing anything it feels like a unbreakable barrier that i can't get through,I realised i just cant do it but i keep dreaming that can it feels like Im fooling with dreams just like I've done before no one is my enemy expect myself, but my one advise i can give too you even if its not much, my advise is that you should sleep at 10 pm and wake up at 7 am i know it doesn't sound much and it sounds dumb but it helped me so i hope it can help you even if its just a little bit.

@@DanTML_ I can no longer call myself a self-disciplined person like the thought of not wasting my day even make it harder for me to sleep. I hate thinking about how I used to be that girl that woke up at five in the summer. It is so hard to be her again

I live in a apartment complex around a bunch of younger people in their 20's and they all seem depressed, none of them talk to each other and they all sit around drinking and smoking weed all day and you can see the depression just by their body language , staring at the ground as they walk into their apartments, I'm 43 and the youngest of Generation X and I feel bad for these kids seriously...

I'm a college student right now living on campus and it's sad smelling weed in the hallways all the time. I know exactly what you mean. But I believe there's still a way to help prevent this at least for some people.

This is very *very* good content. I just sent this to my little brother, he's like 15 and very deep into gaming and the online world. I'm 27 and a software engineer and spend 8h minimum on the computer each day (most days a lot more). I can't remember a time when i had nothing to do with computers, but that's the thing, for me it was just computers at first. A location in the real, a chair that had access, and i only got online when i was like 10 or 11. I only started masturbating to mobile pornography when i was like 15. Up to that point i had to imagine things. I can't imagine what it's like for the generation that had full access to everything at all times since birth. I can however tell you that there's redemption even within this world of infinite access and release, and the ones that build their homes and get healthy on this new ground will be much stronger, faster and wiser than the generations that were sort of lured into the online world halfway through their lives. They will likely never recover. Keep up the good work Gabriel. I wish you the all the best on your journey.

thank you for this video! hope it’ll get a lot of views, especially because everything you’ve said is so precise and relevant. you come up as a very intelligent young man and your advice concerning overcoming escapism sounds great, I’ll definitely try it! agree with your point about the lack of faith in our generation, it really does lead us to the wrong direction… p. s. as a russian girl and a philology student i really appreciate your analogy to “the brothers karamazov”😊

I grew up with internet and video games I can tell what is real and what is not. It was dial up internet. Still. I miss the websites I use to visit I wish I wrote them done. When I was in school the adults controlled the technology at school by only allowing the technology to be used for educational purposes. They blocked websites that were not needed for educational purposes. We could not have cell phones with us during school hours. Which was fine unless there was an emergency. I learned that I should not play video games or computer games all day. Some People can teach themselves when to stop using technology and do things in the real world. I feel the same way everyday I still get up and go to work.

I know a lot of Catholic men that are becoming monks. They devote their lives to God the Holy Trinity; and found meaning serving him and others. Jesus calls some of us to such a life because the world literally has nothing for us... if we're not married and sacrificing for our family, or engaging with community... we're alone... and deep down, we want to be loved, and we don't want to be alone.... we're just alone because it's easier and dealing with people can be scary.

This is a reason I call gen z gen zombie because I as a millennial always look at these zoomers at work and even work with some and they just seem lifeless and wondering around like zombies And like you said of millennials seeming a little bit more balanced I agree as I've seen technology evolve but as millennials we have same issues just not as bad because dont forget like the Kardashians being early millennials and kourtney being a gen x millennial cusp having similarities to them
