I agree, but I think comparing a random dragon level threat to a Cadre isn't valid, we know that Bakuzan was a dragon yet still had absolutely no chance against gouketsu who was also dragon. I think since so many monsters get classified dragon there is a huge difference between some of them

If he were to barely defeat a dragon level threat, we’d know that he’s gotten stronger but still nowhere near his sensei. With chapter 186 it shows just how much Genos has grown, one shotting a dragon level threat with ease which makes you wonder if he would be able to catch his master off his guard, yet when he asks once again to spar with Saitama, the gap in strength is still far too wide in comparison as his master wouldn’t even keep focus when facing him, despite Genos’s astounding increase in power. That’s my take on the change anyway.

I think it's worth noting that the Dragon ranking isn't always indicative of combat prowess. Certain monsters can get that ranking off sheer destructive capabilities/collateral damage potential. Natural disasters in the OPM universe can sometimes get high danger rankings just due to the damage they can cause.

When it comes to Genos's 10 seconds, it seems likely that its not just a timer that he starts once and cant stop until it hits 0. I think it kakes more sense that Dr Kuseno was telling him that his body cannot withstand full power for longer than 10 seconds as a whole before the components break down. But Genos can choose to spend those 10 seconds however he likes. He can use it all in one go or in shorter bursts.

if he uses shorter bursts , maybe he could use it more. 5 seconds at a time could keep him from breaking if thats the case. like a machine gun. itll over heat if you shoot too long, leaving the cooldown longer or impossible. use it in bursts cooldown is shorter and you can ue it for more than ten seconds total in the fight , possibly

That is a really interesting one, i would say that lightning core Genos, is outside Drive Knights range at the monster association point, but i would also like to point out, that Drive Knight at that point, has also stated that he was evaluating the possibility of fighting Nyan, because before that, he was spying the monster association, and was in the field for quite a long time, so his reserves where not in an optimal state to fight without first collecting data on Nyan to see if the fight was possible, so we really might not have seen the full potential on this guy.

Genos 10 seconds mode only lasted during the beam struggles scenes, after that he went to base. Dragon genos was relative to drive knight in base and leagues higher when using a 10 second boost. Lightning core Genos is likely stronger than his previous base version. When Genos says he can now fight dragon level monsters that shouldn’t be taken as if he couldn’t do so prior.

This man’s argument is bias. The 10 seconds was only on “true spiral incineration cannon” he knows it but chose not to say it. Driveknight defeated Nyah (arguably the weakest executive) with prep time and still finished all his energy. Meaning he would have lost with no info. I can’t even imagine Nyah keeping up with the Genos that kept clashing with a god powered psykos + orochi fusion. Driveknight absorbed energy from a whole city (amp) and was far too slow to catch a weakened psyrochi, while a wrecked burnt Genos did it in a second even though he wasn’t initial part of the race. Driveknight can’t dodge attacks from Genos or tank any shot. The fight would be one sided and he’ll die as long as comes clean. Driveknight was flexing on the weakest executive with prep time and still lost all his energy. While Genos constantly clashed serous attacks with an above - above Dragon and still had a lot of power to spare and was still faster than drive knight. And no psyrochi was never stated or inferred to have gotten weaker due to damage. If anything she got stronger cause she kept getting stronger by the minute as she was absorbing power from the earth and monsters. The continent blast was weaker than the one she shot Genos and it wasn’t even the same kind of blast it was more like an esper attack she used before while she used mostly upgraded orochi power here. They former looked stronger cause it was designed like a knife to cut and not explode. This is like assuming. Toneri attack that cut the moon is more powerful than sasuke indra Arrow or 10 tail bomb or naruto most powerful technique, just cause it was able to cut the moon and theirs explode.

Nyah couldn’t kill prisoner and only gave him mild damage, yes Nyah was as not serious but what really is his damage feat or attack potency. Now gums took fuhrer ugly dignity caving punch and regenerated from the damage quite fast, he also got blasted through by bang and regenerated really fast, let’s not forget he got fried from the inside by Genos and still didn’t die. Nyah don’t seem to have feats close. Tbvh I feel even G5 not immediately dying against atomic was better feat than Nyah

Gums always received the attacks of the others while Nyan was able to attack Puri Puri without him being able to react, the same Puri Puri who was able to defend himself from a Garou post Orochi attack and also dodged some attacks from Drive Knight who had a speed similar to Psykoorochi Jet Mode. Nyan was still alive after receiving many attacks from Drive Knight, that already puts him above G5

Great video! One thing I would mention is the fact that Drive knight was in hiding for two weeks observing the Monster association, so he likely lost a lot of energy prior to even facing Nyan. Nyan also specialized in difficulty of extermination as it’s incredibly difficult to land a hit on him, which is why DK said he needed prep time to find a way to land the decisive blow. Gold form wouldn’t seem to need prep time against Forest king either, and Deadric Genos would have a hard time against Nyan. In fact, I think Nyan could have defeated Deadric Genos as Nyan can disappear and enter Genos through his cracks and easily tear him apart. I think generally, people greatly underestimate Nyan. Gold form was also shown to create gargantuan explosions with his mere fists, so I think Drive Knights Gold form is actually surprisingly close the the level of power of the Manga death punch, and that’s likely not even his best form.

It's easy to see how they threaten multiple cities (the criteria for dragon level) but Pochi is arguably weaker than the two Ninja guys at Dragon level even though they don't seem to pose a threat to multiple cities at once the way someone like Mineral Water or Homeless Emp clearly do. 10:45 I think those feets are far from relative since what Genos defeated was a dragon level monster that was vulnerable to fire whitch is the main weapon of Genos, and Drive Knight took the main attack of a cadre monster whitch, by default, scales above most of S clas heroes and dragon level monsters whith no damage to be seen and was able to overpower and outspeed him during the fight and I don't really think the prip time has any thing to do with that but still, if he sais tha prip time is important then so be it. But regardless of that I still agree that his chances againist the lughtning core Genos are quite low despite me still thinking that genos was a big screw up through out most of the series.

Tatsumaki easily wrecks him. Orochi arguably defeats him so he's nowhere near Psyrochi or Tatsumaki in power. He's below Sage Centipede and EOW and Garou considered Sage similar to Orochi.

She was already seen struggling to hold i believe it was garou still for even a short amount of time, that same garou that plat s just fought relativistically to. psychorochi also be overhyped... her attacks were being dodged by numerous people, even some who are considered nowhere near her level. EOW, Sage, Plat S, and Psychorochi are pretty comparable but with different fighting tactics, kindve like rock paper scissors imo, like psychorochi probably beats sage just as he is too big to dodge psychos attack and he wont be able to just keep tanking them, or how EOW probably beats them all except maybe psychoorochi if she can vaporize EOW before any major damage is done (i forget exactly how EOW was taken out so if it was by a pretty weak attack or person then ignore me highballing EOW)

Tatsumaki didn't face Garou so how was she struggling to hold Garou? And if you're referring to Psykos, she was doing that Gyro Gyro and conserving power to fight Tatsumaki. Gyro Gyro being more powerful than Elder Centipede who Golden Sperm was afraid of King for defeating. So Gyro Gyro would scale around Golden Sperm while Psykos herself would be around Platinum Sperm or greater. Orochi is definitely greater than PS and so is Psyrochi who's the fusion of the two. Psykos beam literally covered a whole section of the Earth in a instant and Psyrochi wasn't aiming for anyone besides Tatsumaki after that only S class heros could react to her lower power. Psyrochi is far above them all. Sage and EOW are next and much more powerful than PS as seen through Garou. Garou easily defeated PS but had to get his zenkai and uses awakening breath to defeat Sage.

@@diamantemrobinson mb i was thinking of when tatsumaki struggled to lift saitama in webcomic, not hold garou down, been a while since i read that. i disagree with golden sperm being afraid of king as being a way to scale someone, king just has plot so they did it that way. if golden sperm being afraid of someone who can defeat elder centipede meant anything, then he wouldve been afraid of tatsumaki aswell, but he wasnt... not even in black sperm. id put gyro gyro below golden imo because she is defined as a dragon and hasnt really shown anything like golden sperm has, like toying with some of the S class. Psykos to me is in between golden sperm and platinum sperm just because i do not believe that psykos has a real way to deal with him, the pure speed difference between psykos and platinum is huge. Psykos also doesn't have the durability like psychorochi does to really be able to keep in the fight, if genos and drive knight and tatsumaki can react to psychorochis attacks, i guarantee the garou, platinum sperm, and flashy flash that were fighting together could all dodge them way easier, not to mention the beam is not as big as you think, the damage is, but the beam is just a pretty big almost flat shape, if they go up they can dodge it. against sage garou wasnt going as fast as he could, as shown when he was trying to synchronize with metal bat (more like just going around the same speed) and the fact that he didnt need to despite proving that he could. Overall i think it goes something like Tatsumaki>EOW>Psychorochi>Sage/Plat S>Sage/Plat s, lowkey forgot bout some them feats in tatsumakis fight so i take back what i say bout plat s beating tatsumaki unless off guard

This argument is massive flawed. Monster association Genos 10 seconds was only his “true spiral incineration cannon” you know that, we know that, everyone knows that but you want to low blow Genos. You are saving Genos entered the fight with his meteor destroying cannon power, saved tatsumaki, decided to pause and argue with tatsumaki a bit before continuing to clash multi times all in less that 10 seconds? That’s a lie. This proved base Genos kills driveknight. Also why give him the benefit of prep time? That’s not how a matchup works. And most importantly, their speed wasn’t relative that’s a lie. Even after drive knight took power from a whole city he was took massively slow to catch jet psyrochi for a whole chapter while Genos that was weakened from overloading himself and was also far from the race got their in an instance the moment the join and caught jet psyrochi. In speed a weak Genos is >>> a powered up driveknight. So you claiming he can dodge a shot from Genos is a lie. And driveknight durability won’t mean anything in this fight since he’ll die from Genos meteor destroying cannon, Genos won’t even need 10 seconds 😑🤦🏿‍♂️. I have a serious question for people that hate Genos and try their hardest to remove his feats, what do you gain.

@@kitgo596 drive knight is more versatile but versatility is crap compared in the face of real power. Can you imagine this guy? Driveknight (with prep time) used up literally all his energy to fight and defeat Nyah (arguably the weakest executive). Meaning he would have lost had be not had prep time. I can’t even imagine Nyah having a serious fight with a clean monster association arc Genos. This whole thing said here was nonsense. In a real fight Genos blitz and one-shot driveknight.

@@leoabdulkadir7667 drive knight isn't even as versatile as genos lol, In the webcomic genos has 6 core forms and he can switch between them in an instant and can engage three dragons at once and once he goes all out he quickly defeated all three dragons in under 30 seconds even after those three said dragons fuse and genos did that without any prep time. And this was before he gets his final upgrade lol, until drive knight reveals a secret powerup or transformation of some kind he is nothing infront of genos in anything.
