I felt nothing when i hit $100/month. Neither when i entered the six figure hell. I do remember with joy when i got my first dividend. $7 dollars. First time i made money doing nothing.

Hit the $100 monthly dividend mark about 2 months ago in my self directed. Next goal is $150😊

I would say my first milestone would be 80 to 100 a quarter for me. That would be enough to buy a new share of SCHD each quarter. After that, about 450 to 500 a quarter. After which, I have not even thought about it lol.

I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. As a non American 100 usd is very arbitrary to me. All though I’m close at 85 usd 😂 my next milestone for me personally is 1000 dkk, which is also arbitrary haha.

I was doing everything I could to get to that 1000 dollars a month milestone and last month I finally did it. I feel like from now things are going to get a lot easier a lot faster :)

@@ethanslade3150 Some of the building blocks in my portfolio are SPYI and QQQI. I also have a large position in JEPI and JEPQ and my biggest holding of a single stock is Realty Income.

Where do you guys find good monthly dividend stocks? Are you going for big payouts/expensive stocks or small payouts/owning lots of stocks?

@@Organdonator depends on your risk tolerance and time horizon.if you have a 20 plus year horizon then it might be a good consideration to invest more risky because you have more time to gain anything that could potentially be lost and still come out on top just depends on where your at financially as well.

@@6laka. looks half good….its down 50% over 6 months….. but, stock price is good at $25, and the Dividend was $3.03, $2.33 and $1.94 for the past 3 months …. Looks like it’s going lower though….hmmmm I don’t know. I’m going to do research on this one.
