Brittany you have hands down one of the best channels on KZbin. You are SO different than all of the typical lifestyle/mom channels. I come away from every one of your videos having learned something that will make a positive impact on my life, whether it’s a random amazon gadget, an organization tip, or amazing content like this video. I have 2 kids similar ages to yours and a professional career so I relate so much to you and truly look forward to your videos. You should be so proud of the content you create and you can tell the effort and work you put into it. Thank you so much for all you do!

I absolutely needed this video. I’m a stay at home mom with a 15 month old son. My husband works long hours so I’m at home on my own most of the time. Because of that I’ve neglected myself and out everything into my family and that’s starting to effect my physical and mental health. So every day I am going to take 20 minutes to do something for myself. Tomorrow I am going to take 20 minutes and start reading a book I’ve been wanting to read. I have to take care of myself in order to take care of my family. Thank you so much for this video. 💜💜💜

I personally find this book great because it teaches you that those little things we may overlook are the building blocks of our greater goals so instead of focusing on a huge goal/outcome it’s better to focus on the little things one day at a time because if you’re doing the process right, the outcome will definitely come.

that "don't break the chain" works for me. I also track the percentage of my habit achieved each month. It's so satisfying to see that percentage go up each month. I feel like a superstar. 2021 - drink at least 6 cups of water every day. No more dehydration for me.

@@christineguerrero5678 old fashioned paper planner. The one I have (from Walmart) has a monthly and weekly spread. So in the month spread I’ll track habits I want to ensure I do: floss, exercise, water intake. Then I calculate my percentage. I used to be bad at flossing. I’d brush every night but would often skip floss. Didn’t realize how bad I was until I tracked it. Went from 30% to 98% last year. I’m app fatigued. I like paper.

First of all, I love your book recommendations. I watched you talk about “It starts with the egg” as I was pregnant for the first time. Unfortunately, I too suffered a misscariage shortly afterwards, but I can say, I bought it immediately and that book gave me hope and saved my sanity. I’m 25 weeks pregnant now with my baby girl, btw 😊I saw you talk about this video and already ordered a book. I’m not someone who likes to take walks, but I would love to do them every day when the baby is here, so I started doing them now to create the habit. I have no idea how my life will change after she’s here so I don’t have a lot of goals this year. Just hoping we all stay healthy, but that’s one thing I believe will benefit both her and me, so I’m trying to implement it already 😊

@brittanyvasseur What I really want to do every day is to keep the house clean, tidy. Since my son died I have not been able to get out of bed 9 months in bed feeling like I am slowly dying. I did not care about anything, literally. I couldn’t do anything let alone clean or put things away. Every room got so messy, cloths all over the place… cloths in the hallway…drawers all messy, in the kitchen the drawers…I would just unload the dishwasher and throw anything, anywhere. Every single room is so messy, nothing is where it belongs. Since watching you sweet one, I started to get out of bed and everyday I put you on and listen to you while I do one or two things a day. Some days like you said emerita takes over and I will do several things so thank you for being you as you are pure gold, you have a pure heart, you have pure intentions. Last fall, I wanted to start the habit of going to bed every night with a clean kitchen. I found the “cleaning as I cook” method was extremely satisfying!!! I realized I was standing around and scrolling through my phone waiting on dinner to cook. Now I unload the dish washer, wipe down the counters, and tidy what I can til dinner is ready. Now there’s no mess to clean up after dinner! Bonus: dirty dinner plates go straight into the empty dish washer instead of sitting in the sink overnight...

Get up make coffee try journaling/writing gratitudes/ planning my day... whatever it is I want those minutes to be for me, to start my day off on the right foot. then jump into a workout and go to work. I really appreciated this video today. I watch you often but this popped up right when I needed it. I started a small business 6 months ago and it hasn’t been the best that I know it can be yet. Today I was feeling down and unmotivated but this helped me get back to work 💪🏼 thank you :) god bless

This is a great video! It makes so much sense that we expect instant results and when we don’t get them, we give up. This makes me believe that if I keep trying, even if I’m not seeing results right away, I will eventually be successful. Also, Ryan’s cameos are so hilarious!

I kept seeing the 'Atomic Habits' book being recommended over and over and I said to my husband that I feel like I NEED to read this book. I just got the audio yesterday and have started listening to it and then this video popped up. After listening to you I am so excited to get through the book. Thank you! I have many serious goals for this year (become debt free/get healthier and lose weight) and my word for this year is intentional. Your comments about being specific I feel will be the key! Thank you again!

I’m trying to do my school work everyday so I can graduate high school. I’ll set an hour when I can once a day just for my schoolwork.

I plan to take showers every other day, and do self care on those days such as using a face mask in the evening before bed. I also plan to clean or organize one thing that is messy each day in the mornings as soon as I get up so that it is done for the day.

I will walk everyday, around the neighborhood, in the morning! Dammit!!

Lol Ryan cracks me up 🤣 I love "Success is defined by how you act when you are not seeing results." I plan to keep on going and trying to be 1% better each day so I will eventually have success! I love this video so much! Please make this a series!!!

I really needed this right now. I have some storage and craft areas in my home that have just gotten out of control. They have become areas to just throw things in with no organization. Over the last year I have planned at different times to clean and organize the areas but then it just seems too overwhelming. It makes sense that if I would just commit to a small amount of time on a regular basis that I would make progress in time. That is now my goal. Thanks.

I bought this book because of you!! In Toronto we have been in lockdown since November (Stay at home order).. so because I’m not working I decided to take this time and try to establish my habits in hopes they will stick once I’m back to my regular routine! My bestie also purchased the book and we started a mini book club. We are working through each chapter and helping each other think of ways to incorporate these small changes into our lives!

I read this book back in late 2019 early 2020... great book...

I just finished the book, Atomic Habits and I can see how easily one can shift their life from average to AMAZING! This 2021, I am implementing some very small changes to do repeatedly. I ordered a preprinted bullet journal on Etsy with a planner so that I have everything in one place. It's the first book that really made sense and didn't make me feel like a failure. I am not a failure, my approach just wasn't specific and maybe too big. Looking forward to a great 2021!! Happy New Year!

I’m definitely going to grab this book. I also highly recommend The 5 Second Rule by Mel Robbins. To say that book changed my life is an understatement lol.

On Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday I will go for a walk and jog for 1hr at 5:00 am around our area. 💖 This video just gave me motivation of what I really wanted to do for a long time now. I’ve been putting a hold of doing my exercises cause I feel like I don’t know how I should start it. Thank you Brittany! 💕

I love that Ryan is more involved in videos now 😂 one thing I’ve tried to do is be more intentional with my exercise, like parking far away from the supermarket or making multiple trips up the stairs when possible.

I finally have an Instagram, after years of being afraid of it, and the first person outside of my family that I follow is our Brit! I scrolled allll the way down to the view from her bedroom window and pics of Bardot

Haha I’m afraid of Instagram and Facebook, glad I’m not the only one out there. 😁

They're so scary @@lindsayh.8503 there's nothing wrong with being afraid. I explained it more in my newest video's description box, but it's my new year's resolution to become a content creator. Still not of fb though, it's not worth it, fb sucks and it's hekkin scary! Likewise with Twitter, but I've turned off the pictures in the app so it's less attractive to scroll through. The plan is to just post. Consumption vs creation. Thankee for letting me ramble
