Golden knight is usable. I play him in bridge spam. Kinda like a bandit but tankier and you can control the dash, and role wise, he’s great against swarm! The problem is the dash forgets that there is a skeleton army surrounding him. He’ll dash, hit one skeleton, and then stop. He then sits there and gets destroyed and now you wasted 5 elixir for 1 skeleton. It doesn’t go to the side. It doesn’t go back. It just feels bad. I don’t mind him not being the best card I just want his dash to work

I honestly think something that can easily make him viable is making his dash damage increase for every target he hits. Like imagine he deals 10x damage to the 10th target after hitting 9 other targets.

the dash is completely broken. It was a bit buggy before but I think the good range and the mechanics of it covered that, but after they "reworked" it, so many interactions where he should do well he just flat out doesn't work 80% of the time. Oh, your opponent dropped a goblin barrel next to your GK? Seems like a perfect opportunity to use his dash... Oh wait... he only dashed on one of them and stopped. Oh, your opponent dropped a giant/witch at the bridge? Perfect... oh except he only dashes on a few skeletons and then just decides to give up. It makes no sense. It was the best feeling in the world when he came out, your opponent built a huge push on you, and then you drop GK and swipe through all of them. I'd even be fine if they reverted it back to how it was initially but just nerfed the dash damage. He was way more fun back then. It would make him an anti-swarm knight then.

As a drill player, I disagree EXTREMELY. golden knight has very little counters to his ability, is a good damage dealer, great tank, and helps me snipe towers. I'm in ultimate champion, and let me tell you, golden knight is far from useless. If you want to make a video on current worst champ In clash, pick one that actually loses many matchups because of its counters, mighty miner, a truly useless card in play.

Little counters? Brother almost every card that counters it is meta. Pekka, fisherman, skellies, cannon, spear goblins, bandit, goblin stein, etc. but I do agree that mighty miner might be the worst champion

The thing with golden knight is many people think he works well by himself even though synergy is his job...but ALSO as a miner drill player, the control he has dashing which either stalls or gets massive value on defense allows for instant drill punish/counterpush with his fast ability cooldown. The only counters to him is some needed knowledge about interactions (like ewiz stun, fisherman, dash pausing) and some intense micro plays because personally, wasting his ability loses me the game

The main problem is that he’s uninteresting and really just a more expensive version of bandit the vast majority of the time (and doesn’t do that well at all, not that I personally see him as worse bandit, that’s just the general idea a lot of people have. He’s completely outclassed by so many different things and just doesn’t have any sort of way to be viable without the dash being powerful. I think that the buff he needs is being able to go coast to coast again

I'm playing an EVO pekka, golden knight, tornado deck and I am truly blown away and amazed by the pressure these cards have together. The Golden Knight was already my favorite champion because it used to be so broken, but realistically, it's still extremely good if you know how to use it. I think every champion is good and has good utility with or without their ability, however I think the golden knight is the best for me.

Golden knight is the only reason I can beat unskilled people who use 2.6 hog decks and gob giant sparky combos. I don’t think he needs a nerf or a buff, but I like all the hate surrounding him so that they’ll never nerf him again. I use this card everyday. People who call him trash just need to get their timing right and strong support cards. He’s a game changer that can flip a 1-0 loss into a 2-1 win, happens like 12 times a week in my experience.

In the top ladder he is out of question cant be used, he get heavily countered by almost everything and people even with cycle decks can counter him easily In the middle ladder where i have the most experienced with him, he is low tier at best even a 2.6 can counter him with cannon and other champions are just simply more reliable The best way i and my friends was able to use him is against logbait decks in that case he is pretty good at that

He’s a really good swarm counter compared to the bandit. If you pair him with executioner, and tornado, you have a tank that can threaten the enemy tower while stopping the enemy from using swarm cards.

What if we make it so he recharges his dash 8% faster for each target below 10 he didn't hit. I mean, if he dashes into a golem and nothing else he would have -72% recharge which is around 2 seconds of cooldown. Otherwise buff his attack speed so he has better damage output without his ability. Or... Make his ability 0 cost with 10 second cooldown.

1- he is inconsistent as hell, as someone put it before "you will never know if you are getting the Golden Knight or the Yellow knight" which sums it perfectly and his inconsistency makes him extremely toxic when he is viable 2- he is mostly seen in E Gaint decks and E Gaint is already hated so that puts him in a worse position, although he saw some usage with 3 Musketeers at some point too. 3-For 1 less Elixir, you can get a Knight with better status or get a Bandit that can dash too. You can also use a Valk, Dark Prince, Baby Dragon etc.... and they would all provide more value than Golden Knight without being toxic or used in braindead decks. Any card with RNG or true red true blue elements is usually hated, toxic or just doesn't work especially in top ladder. Graveyard has RNG which makes it sometimes more luck based than skill based, starting hands can also play a role on how the match plays. If you were against Lava Hound and you have no air cards in your starting hand and your deck is heavy like Golem Beatdown then might as well give up on the match entirely. Golden Knight could work with a change to his ability instead of just being a booster to slow cards and barely doing his job at dashing. Might as well use Rage to boost your push or something .

I use him in almost every game I play as my go-to Champion card, if someone plays a witch in the back and you just let the skeletons form a line, its a straight dash to the tower and witch. But its still unpredictable how well the dash is going to work. Sometimes the dash range is huge, and other times its like, what? Why did it stop dashing, the other troops was 1 tile away! Its ass compared to Archer queen if you play against pros, but meh. I just play casually.

His base stats are average and his ability isn’t that good so he should be usable if he wasn’t a champion, as long as any champion is good he won’t be used since you can just pick any other mini tank along with the better ranged champion, look at little prince, he actually gets a lot value but is outclassed by both Evo Wizard and goblinstein while also being hard countered by Goblinstein AND his counters so no one uses him because the meta is bad for him, once Goblinstein is down LP will probably be meta in cycle decks again
