How can one with Cloud experience proceed to get into cybersecurity, is it advisable to go for CISSP, then GRC?
@UnixGuy17 күн бұрын
If you have cloud experience then I recommend doing cloud security certs from this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qGmZinatjcSci5Ysi=UkbJ8y4mTaaZPiEp For GRC, do GRC Mastery: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eWesmJ6pd9WAfJYsi=Mo9aCQXTyvYqLsY_ CISSP is something you can do later once you have more expeirence if you wish (its not a must)

@UnixGuy17 күн бұрын
Hi, I understand your concern but you’ll find all intermefiate level valuable certs are at the same price point (or more). It’s something you can invest in later donw the line :)
@slevinlaine17 күн бұрын
I don't want to sound like a party pooper, but as far as I've read about GRC, the general opinion was it's boring, really boring. : s. Like people in GRC mentioned the job made them not want to strive, since they felt so tired from the job they do, like they do the job and call it a day. I don't know a thing about GRC yet, and if this is what the future is going to be for ppl in cyber, if what I've read it's true, I'm concerned : /. I mean governmental jobs as far as I know it's very strict and plain. On the plus side, from what I recall, is that the job pays well. Hopefully I'm absolutely wrong, about the boring and tedious stuff. That's why I'd love to hear from people working in GRC, what opinion they have about it.
@UnixGuy17 күн бұрын
Any job can be boring/tedious, remember those who have a good job dont feel the need to go complain about it on reddit. Having said that, you don’t need to work in GRC, like I said the idea is to have ‘GRC skills’ and be well rounded. Learning something isn’t a life sentence
