i think that’s a great idea to have two separate brands one affordable and one luxury. Much like how Rolex have Tudor as a more affordable alternative. that being said I don’t think eddie could ever make a luxury brand, he’s just not that guy. there’s too many things wrong with the way he conducts business i think if he tries this he’s got a long way to go. In regards to the diamonds i think that’s a poor business decision because of how well he’s educated his audience on moissanite. i think the number of people who want diamond are gonna be very small. i think he’ll end up spending a ton of money having a lot of diamonds stocked collecting dust while he’s trying to sell them off to a small number of people

First thing he needs to do is start branding his products with his initals or a logo. That is something he should already be doing at least on his silver imo. IF anything it adds to the trust of his products because it shows he will stand by them.

@@HARLEMBLINGREVIEWS I hate logos on jewelry one of the reasons I came to harlembling. His watches which I do like and own one. Already has logo and I wish they didn't.
@cooloutac Жыл бұрын
@@Pac925 do you hate the 925 on there? Doesn't have to be a logo could just be his company initials. Not like anybody can see it unless they examine the piece. Not having one makes it look like its so he could deny its his product when somebody has a complaint against him. And if he wants to be considered a luxury brand in my opinion it's a necessity. Most expensive jewelry piece I have has company initials inside the ring. With luxury watches the first thing people look for is initials or logos on the crown. It's a sign of quality and pride.
@FromADistanceJewelry Жыл бұрын
I definitely agree that the company should have the logo on the pieces. It definitely adds to validity and without logo it would not have a high-end feel. Totally Agree. Although you left something important out. The companies that Eddie seemed to be referencing, (Cartier, Tiffany & Co, Rolex, Louis Vuitton) are all over 100 years old. They are so old and celebrated that they have historical significance, having made a resonating impact on pop culture. For Eddie to think that he could compete with them in his lifetime with Harlem Bling is delusional. If he wanted to make a sort of “high roller” line of diamond jewelry under the same name, that could be feasible. But selling custom diamond pieces to celebrities is much more demanding than selling mass produced silver and moissanite to the common consumer. 🤷
@jefryescobardeluzionz5354 Жыл бұрын
Honestly If Harlem Bling wanted to be a luxury brand it needed to sell limited quantities of their collections like this is a 1 of 50 type of thing since it would only be available for a certain amount of people.
@FromADistanceJewelry Жыл бұрын
Right, I would definitely think that would be the case. A common item can't be considered luxury. An easily attainable item can't be considered luxury.
@Reem_Geez Жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same thing, that Eddie should launch a 2nd tier type company that only sells high end jewelry like CVD etc. Also I do believe that the name itself, Harlembling will not allow people to look a the company as is as a high end jewelry company. Imo & at a minimum he needs to rename the company if his goal is to keep the current company as is but add luxury jewelry items. I totally fux with Harlembling & Eddie knows this but the name of the company as is doesn't like a luxury brand. But again, I agree that he should probably start a new company with a more suitable luxury brand name or do add a 2nd tier but still change the name from Harlembling to something new & fresh.

If he or anyone can get it to 1200 to 1800 for a 10k moissanite tennis chain he wouldnt have to make a luxury brand cuz his moissanite shine so much better than vs1 diamonds.

I got to be honest, no disrespect to you but a $3,000 piece doesn't sound like luxury to me. $3,000 definitely seems to be attainable in my mind. Maybe I'm thinking about different types of luxury.
