Guys, listen to Craig. I was literally a different person last year this time; depressed, anxious, cant sleep/eat...slept with his playlist on. My ex had 2 rebounds after me, and believe you me it stings real bad. A year on, lots of self reflection and counselling I started feeling stronger when he broke no contact,had a relapse and had to set a boundary. Then 5 months later he broke no contact again, begging me on his knees to give him another chance saying that breaking up with me was the worst mistake he made. We taking it tortoise steps.. still following you religiously... this time I also need to have healthy boundaries, love yourself first❤️

If they leave you for someone else, especially right away, it is absolutely disrespectful. They have already proved that they are untrustworthy, especially when you thought the break up was out of nowhere and they didn't even want to try to communicate to resolve whatever it was that made them want to go through the breakup. Do yourself a favor. Let them have whatever downgrade they want, because in the end it's really you that matters and Craig is right- it's all about personal growth and being the best you and the best option for someone who will truly love you for you unconditionally.

It’s been 4 months since my ex ended the relationship. I haven’t heard from her since and it’s definitely for the best. I’ve made so much progress in personal and physical growth. Trust me when I say that things get better with time. The relationship was great and beautiful but her mental and emotional health was not the best. I decided to talk to a therapist after the breakup and I definitely recommend it. I went out on a date last night and it was the best night I’ve had in a long time. We had great chemistry and had a wonderful night. She is definitely an amazing woman and we plan to see each other soon. Thank you Coach Craig. The sad truth is, once a relationship ends, it usually stays that way. Even if they return, it's either for the wrong reasons (the dumper got dumped by her rebound and needs attention and an ego boost), or the same issues play out and the dumper leaves again. I don't know anyone - and certainly not myself - who had a relationship end and then begin again, other than very briefly. And I've been around for quite a while

I will say it might not be a rebound, you also have to think like Craig says whats the probability of the first person that they date will be the relationship that works out for them. You never know and my ex left me in April of 2021, so I understand what your going through. I’m slowly moving on since I know she has put her profile up online again. Hang in there!

Sorry but you're right it's not a rebound. 9 months is plenty of time to move on from someone. Rebounds are usually really close after a breakup. I would say anything after 2 months post breakup is no longer considered a rebound.

My ex was a full blown narcissistic. After 7 months NC after a terrible breakup I've found myself again. I'm no longer being abused or put down. I'm happier making new friendships and thriving without her. I see my daughter and that brings me real joy. Trust in the process and stay NC it will be hard but listen to the coaches and work on YOU not them.

A lot of good points. This time is for healing and growth, and whatever happens can be dealt with as it comes up. Mindfulness meditation has helped recently to refrain from thinking too much about the past or the future, and to focus on the current moments I am experiencing. For example, today is a good day. I woke up early, got ready for work, and have already caught up on my duties for the morning. Sure I still think about my ex but I let those thoughts come and go like waves in an ocean. When I am ready to do reflection, that's when I allow myself to look backwards and forwards. I look at what happened, what was good and bad, and I take notes about what I want going forward. Then, if I get overwhelmed, I simply say, "This too shall pass," and let the waves go back out once again. I know I'm a serial commenter the last few days, but these videos help, and so do the comments. I hope this one can be of some help as well. Do the growth, and experience what life has in store for you.

About 2 mins in the video and throwing it out there that I personally haven't gone back to my ex because she cheated, lied and a whole bunch of other things. I never will go back to her either. It’s been a year for me. I’m at a point where I’ve personally decided I’m going to do what I can to detach. Then date new people. If they come back, cool. If not, I’ll hopefully be moved on soon so it won’t matter either way. Im sorry you’re in the same boat. They can always come back, but if you move on instead of hold on, whether they come back or not you will be in a position of power Do not break NC. Sometimes exes come back after a year , and reaching out could prevent that

I’ve read a lot of stories of people coming back 2-3 years later. Even 30. But why hold on? You’re wasting precious time that person doesn’t even care about. I’m 2 months NC now, but I’m starting to think it’s totally ok for me to put them behind me and start thinking about things I enjoy. The longer you hold on… the more it will push them away… let go. Find a hobby. When they e see you are happy, they know you aren’t thinking of them. They come back back when you let go. You’ll be ok. I promise ❤️
