Set small goals for yourself, once you achieve 1 set another one and another one, You will subconsciously start to get motivated for bigger things. IF you start out too big and you find it hard to achieve that big goal, you'll start to lose hope. This may be my most favorite talk of his. If we are intelligent enough to recognize our intelligence as a "problem", as an impediment to happiness, then we are also intelligent enough to recognize our intelligence as the very tool of bringing us closer to happiness and eliminating our suffering. So ultimately, it IS a choice which path to take. As Sadhguru so simply put it, "demotivation" is not an ailment. Hence not something others can help you with. It is something you have to chose to stop being.

@carloscastanheiro29336 жыл бұрын
Just practice gratitude. I had to go through decades of suffering to finally appreciate life. I hope you realize it sooner than I did... It's something you have to experience yourself. But gratitude is a start. Be aware and mindful of all the things that make you comfortable. Be grateful. Don't over think, just be the present moment. Keep watching Sadhguru, it might help you achieve inner peace. It's basically a choice. Just choose to be a flame and you will. Will power is your greatest tool. You shape your own reality. Become fearless, don't allow anything to affect you and don't identify with your thoughts. Just be impartial, let them flow. Focus on what makes you happy. Stop worrying about what others may think. Master this. The whole purpose of the universe is you and this moment, so enjoy it. Life is the perfect game, so play it.

Thank you, Sir!! Yes, exactly, we are suffering our own intelligence. I chanced upon this video of Sadhguru while browsing through Viktor E Frankl's Logotherapy concepts. While Frankl is commending the search for meaning in one's life, Sadhguru is asking us to stay "balanced" and not run for meaning but only exist. Bhagavada Gita's teachings that keep working but do not expect fruit of action are in line with Sadhguru's teachings. Not everyone of us is built for "greatness" as society defines it but "humility" and "peace" and mere "existentialism" may often work wonders. Yes, indeed, we are suffering our own intelligence and competitiveness. I have come to a point in my life where if I merely exist, it would suffice. A lot of people tell me that you have done enough but I never used to take that comment to heart. Time to accept that I have done enough inspite of and against all odds and now merely "exist".

Previously what made me happy n satisfied eg cooking fr family now not make me happy anymore. Being compassionate I have stopped. It's painful to watch myself so demotivated Is this a burnout, or need for a break from routine, change of scene maybe I can't decide

I hope you all are fine now as it's been a year but still if you are going through the same I suggest you to try and connect yourself with the nature This one thing changed my life Still sometimes I feel low but being in the nature gives you a sense of freedom and also gives confidence that you are not alone someone will always be there for you ,sometimes the someone is YOU😄

Sadhguru always has nice clothes Beautiful color combinations. I make pictures of his clothes. I see fabrics are linen, silk and cotton. I can feel the energy, so beautiful 😍
