*Real Madrid net spend 2011-2021: £215m* *Man City net spend 2011-2021: £1 BILLION* We've been selling players to buy players for over a decade now. Hence why the Bayern President said we're an example of how you can win without spending like the oil clubs. When we sign Hazard for £100m, it's cos we sold Ronaldo for £100m. Anyone who accuses Madrid of spending loads doesn't know the actual FACTS & NUMBERS. *NET* spend is the only thing that matters.

Real Madrid is is bent club as you can get. If they don't have any money then suddenly they will 'magic' money from some illegal sources. Remember the sale of the local training ground to the local council for £480m to wipe out the £290m debt. The dodgy dealings of land re-valuation and direct proceeds enabled Real to embark on their period of extravagant Galacticos spending. Without the scrupulous government deal there is no way that heavily indebted Real would’ve been able to splash out on their extravagant squad of superstars:
@tharcisseofficial3 жыл бұрын
@@voodoochile333 Why do people always mention this 1 case and act like it's part of a long list of things Madrid has done wrong? That 1 case is basically one where 7 different clubs in Spain were being granted tax subsidies because they're non-profit organisations, but the European Commission said that's illegal & have to pay it all back. The total for the clubs that were given these tax cuts (Bilbao, Osasuna, Barça, Valencia, Madrid, Hercules & Elche) is close to just €20m each, ordered by the European court. Saying that Madrid got such a ridiculous tax cut on land that it allowed them to build the Galacticos is just insane. For those 7 clubs to have made hundreds of millions from land tax means the price of land in Spain must be the price of several oil fills, and the European Commission today must be more corrupt than a South American cartel. You name dropped 1 case, involving 7 clubs, where Madrid weren't asked to pay €20m in taxes & land, then said they used that €20m to fund the Galacticos. Crazy. Plus I can name dozens of clubs with more than 1 case against them across Europe, where they made way more than €20m over 25 yrs.

@@TrFjAcOr No one's whitewashing anything. The training ground sale is part of the same investigation and amounted to a court order that Madrid pay back the €10m they made. The figures are available for EVERYONE to see, so the fact you'd promote false information like that means you're either incapable of doing basic research or you're lying on purpose to express some warped hatred for a random football club.

And the contracts of madrid 4 biggest earners like isco, modric, marcelo and Bale all ends in 2022. That is gonna boost their wage structure to sign these players.

I think the Real Madrid plan is a pretty canny one from how i see it... Modric & Bale are out of contract at the end of the season so that frees up enough in the wage bill to be able to accommodate them and the likes of Kroos, Asensio, Isco and Militao can command decent fees once clubs can spend normally after a year of crowds in. I see M'Bappe & Pogba signing deals with them in January as soon as they are allowed. Haaland will arrive in July for his bargain clause price and Conte will arrive as the new Manager in June with Ancelotti becoming director of football. But this season's team will go deep in the league and the CL: Courtois; Carvajal, Nacho, Militao, Alaba; Casemiro, Kroos; Vinicius, Bale, Hazard; Benzema with Rodrygo, Modric, Isco, Asensio & Vasquez from the bench is a serious team and most of them have something to prove.

Perez is so fixated on Mbappe tho that I think he will do it. He's willing to throw away the balance of the team for mbappe. We need another center back this summer and he wont buy one as long as he dreams about mbappe. Also means we probably wont be able to get haaland next summer if we buy mbappe for too much now. He should've learned his lesson with hazard after overpaying with a year left there. It just became an even worse deal afterwards due to his injuries

It's not stupid because Perez wants to keep a good relationship with PSG and getting him free will piss them off. Barca wanted to sign Verrati and PSG retaliated getting Neymar and now Messi. Perez has great relationship with all clubs so they can sit and negotiate for player. Barcelona's tactic is to tell the player to not go and train until he is sold and now clubs like Dortmund and Liverpool hate Barcelona. Hazard was worth that much money because he was the best in the PL, but he was careless with fitness and unlucky with an ankle injury. To me neither player will make a difference to Real, both are world class and are the future, but Real have more structural problems. If I was to have to choose I would say Harland, for the only reason being me being a Liverpool supporter and I would love Mbappe at LFC. I also thing Harland is like a spoilt brat and so would suit Real

La Liga is dying, like how Serie A suffered. And this maybe the upcoming fate of the EPL. Wasting money to get glories with little to return.

@@jonny26281 Drying successes... EPL has plenty of successful clubs, but it fails to transcend into the national side - something Spain and Italy had achieved but not England. EPL, in other words, is a double-edged sword killing English football. If England can't achieve any international success, EPL is a waste of England. That's why there are calls to limit foreign players in EPL to save English football from a catastrophe.

the net debt is just €46m as of now, the rest debt has to be paid in 30 years with €30m/year instalment as it was loaned for the stadium reconstruction. They aren’t spending money cz they aren’t owned by a rich oil owner, they can only spend what they earn and cz of Covid they aren’t able to generate revenue which will be back to normal once the lockdown restrictions ease of, so they’ll be back to competing with the oil clubs

Because the Spanish gvt and by extension the EU has no more funds to bank out Real, Barcelona, etc so they'll have to live within their means for a change. We'll see if they'll be dominating Europe now...

Look at Chelsea, City and tell me how they're living within their means. Utterly stupid statement, RM, Barca always have spent what they earned, they just earned much more than oil clubs did.
