Surely there would be some proof they could point to if the direction was good or pure.. The regime have shown they can disrupt and dismantle but are still to show they can build and create

Those who can't create...destroy. That's the very basis of all socialist thought, the politics of envy.

He is correct. I will purposefully not hire people who open the door whatsoever to the possibility of future problems. I’m fine with inclusion and diversity but it’s was easy to catch problems using a behavioral interview.

Hire an earnest hard working soul who wants to learn , more like an apprenticeship. A university education is not the way to go. Judging by the latest turnout.

Your comment might be the most true statement I have ever read on the internet. I applaud your thinking, and I agree with it.

There is another reason why college entry requirements have been shredded. Students are leaving high school with sub standard education and learning skills. If normal entry requirements were imposed most of them wouldn't get into college

I used to work for a large Canadian university. I saw the level go down over just 10 years, as the department forced us to make the course easier so that the average would be higher so that more students would get into 2nd year programs. The university made more money and the students learned less. They also made classes larger (again saving the university money on sessional instructors) and we were all over the campus, not in the physics building, so we stopped doing demonstrations which the students loved (the demo room was next to the lecture room but most are too large/heavy to take to lecture rooms all over campus). The students who came in over the years had higher and higher high school averages, but knew less and less. High 90s in physics and math, but then the averages on our first midterms were usually ~65%, with most of the material on the first midterm being very similar to high school material. By the time I left the "new" midterm averages were closer to 75%...

I listened to this guy and in the first part I agreed with him. I agree with him that people the best best ability should go forward in society and not people from special sections of society. After that I completely disagree with him, became he twists the truth. He complains that the present day students protest and question authority. The last generation to do this was the sixties generation and they were the most innovative generation that we have seen. The problem with their innovation is tfat right wing governments allowed US industry to farm out the benefits of this innovation to be manufactured in foreign countries.(mainly China) Leaving the US public to receive little or no benefit from it. It was also right wing governments who cut funding for Universities and Colleges and encouraged them to make up the defisate by recruiting fee paying foreign students. This turned the US education system into an industry instead of an educator. Since the mid 1990's the rich in the US have got richer and the poor have got poorer . Ask yourself WHY???

In the 1960's, those were American protestors... this has been financed by our enemies. Big difference.

Democrats have been as happy to send our manufacturing abroad as "right wing" (actually corporatist) administrations have. Trump is the only president who even tried to reverse this trend. Open borders destroy workers' wages while driving rents up. This treasonous Democrat administration has openly opposed the efforts of Texas to slow the invasion, and even flown the invaders into the heartland. If you think the left is for an egalitarian society, you're naive. Its aim is to void the separation of wealth and power, and create a neo-feudal fascist state that has no middle, only the corrupt rulers and their sanctimonious hangers-on, and a dependent, demoralized, easily manipulated peasantry.
