@@JohnAndersonMedia Hi, Kristian. I'm American ; I live in Florida. I've been watching John's 'conversations' for probably two - three years. I even watch when I don't know who the guest is because in his conversations, John brings out important information whether for Australians or for the world at large. He allows his guests the time to answer questions fully, he never bullies or over-rides his guests but listens - imagine that! he listens - and tries to balance what the guest has to say with what is going on in the world and as he himself sees things. It is exactly what a conversation should be - an exchange of ideas. I have never seen him unprepared and whatever may be going on in the production side of the conversations, he never seems rushed but ready to give his guest the fullness of his attention. Especially today, it's uplifting to see a host treat his guests so well, whether they agree in principle or not. I just think he's the best there is.

Mr Murray is a beacon of wisdom and understanding about the current culture war. All delivered in a calm, articulate, supremely knowleadgeable way. A true intellectual giant and a pleasure to listen to. Not all Oxford humanist education is wasted, after all! A note to Mr Anderson: Finding this channel was a real surprise for me, you were one of the better ministers in the John Howard government. Your evolution from the political cesspits of the early 2000s to the values and ideas expoused in this channel is a pleasant surprise which, I must say, was an unexpected find in an ex politician. Many of the problems discussed in this video have been visible for years. Some questions beg asking (to which I don't expect an answer): were you aware of the gallopping cancer of cultural Marxism while you were in government? Why didn't the Howard "conservatives" do something then? For example, a funding inquiry into the ABC?

"Why would we be taking the individualism out of individuals?" Because that is *exactly* the goal. To take the concept of individual rights out of the West, so that we revert to group rights and group competition, the historical norm.

Bingoo - once i saw all these different seemingly baffling “interest groups” all as expressions of anti individualism, the peices fall into place, the correct questions come to mind to ask these people and you find yourself flying directly over the target.

He actually speaks with a bit of a broad accent, but it's important to remember that his speech is still somewhat posh and sophisticated for someone of his generation. Look up some of the archival footage videos of street interviews with Australians in the 1960s, and you'll see how the accent has evolved over time. I was born in 2000 in Adelaide, SA, and I grew up here. My brothers and I speak with a fairly posh accent (although we sound more general when drunk), yet my parents (born in the 60s) sound much less posh than we do

I have only recently come across Murray via Jordan Peterson and followed him through many interviews and interviewers and this is by far the most concrete and poignant interview of them all. Whereas so many other interviews are lost in the clouds of highest thought and theory and the interviewers are happy to have achieved that, you move towards application and conclusion and you pulled that out of him. Well done.
