It's possible to have a hiatal hernia small enough to not be easily detected. And there is a LOT of overlap with organic anxiety disorder/IBS. I am trying self-massage and exercises to resolve hiatal hernia and seeing how that works. If it's small enough to not be detectable, maybe self care can fix it.

Yes I have the symptoms of what you call hiatus hernia syndrome but the upper barium swallow x-ray and the endoscopy came back normal and clear!! I was suspecting that It may be a real hiatus hernia but the tests came back normal!!!

Yep! On 80mg of esomeprazole daily. It does affect your quality of life 😢
