The stock market is not for the weak. It carries a risk. If one cannot tolerate this, then better stay out of it for your own sanity.

Jerry, how do you determine what’s “overpriced”? Are you just looking at PE ratios or massive unstable surges on a stock etc? Thanks 😊

Hi Jerry is there a reason you don’t swap your JEPQ for GPIQ? It’s got the same index same yield same performance same total return but GPIQ has much better tax efficient income, mostly classified as ROC so no tax until you get your cost basis back.

So what to do with puts that have month to go before expiry?
@JerryRomineStocks19 сағат бұрын
I prefer selling puts that are 1-2 weeks out. Yes, they take more time to manage, but here’s the deal-they give you more flexibility and theta is in your favor. Nothing wrong with monthlies, though. The strategy doesn’t change: manage them the same way. Here’s the key-always watch for opportunities to take profits early if they’re there. If not? Roll the position when it makes sense. It’s all about staying disciplined and playing the probabilities.

Are you adding to your Jepq at todays prices or waiting for 10% pullback?
@PizzardNation15 сағат бұрын
@@LivingonHighYield I just added and keep nibbling if it goes down more
@LivingonHighYield15 сағат бұрын
Is there is a reason you have JEPQ over GPIQ? It tracks same index, same performance, same yield, but GPIQ has tax efficient roc income
@PizzardNation15 сағат бұрын
@ great question I have both but now I believe GPIQ is a touch better in a volatile market with a touch better return. It’s so close but if I were to start a new position it would be GPIQ. That’s just my opinion. Buy some before it goes back up

I buy Berkshire with the thought that they effectively find oversold, high-quality companies.

As a divided growth investor, I love market corrections. Wouldn't mind seeing a 2 or 3 year bear market. Boost those payouts

Heres your move. If you have no money to buy bargins, sell your stock take the loss? If you wait you lose. If you sell you lose. Either way you lose. Or just wait and it will come back in two-three years.

Still going to hold Tesla this year?
@jameshannon515820 сағат бұрын
Hey Jerry so funny enough I just transitioned my portfolio focused more on schg then jepq , I have 200k in schg and 15k in jepq, do you think it would be wise to then restructure back to jepq? Or just leave as is and add to this position, I am only 30 years old , would love your opinion on it

It sounds like you're daying to sell out of hundreds of thousands of dollars of growth stocks to buy bonds. Im not doing that
@JerryRomineStocks17 сағат бұрын
I’ve never been a big fan of bonds, but here’s the thing, we have to understand them. They’re part of the broader picture..
@whatsup24_717 сағат бұрын
@JerryRomineStocks I'm down on some tech stocks that I would not sell out of for a loss to buy bonds. I'm sure they will go back up.. they're not speculative stocks
