I'm kind of glad he hasn't taken just any role to stay in the business. He was never in the gossip columns or if he was, not for very long, which says to me that he didn't care about being "famous". I've been bingeing "Alias" and I'm finally on the last season. Now that he's not on the show as much, if at all, I seem to have lost interest LOL. I hope he does get his second chance. It's time!

I've been bingeing too and cringing for the moment when I can tell things have gone wrong. I vaguely remember my daughter and I stopped watching at some point and I'm pretty sure it had a lot to do with how much we liked Michael Vartan and how much we hated .. well we were both disappointed in how things turned out. I would like to see him in shows again as he always played such "shippable" characters. Come Back Michael!

Well if any of you knew Michael Vantan personally and asked him what he thought about being an actor, like I did one night at one of his parties.... he would have told you it was not his first choice of careers. He wanted to play professional sports. I think it was hockey he told me about. I believe to be an actor you have to "love" it for all it does to you and all it takes from you...I just don't think his whole heart was in it. I can prove my statement....as he will rememeber me as the only lady that had to break out of his house....not in....but out. I got locked in his bathroom and had to remove the screen and climb out the bathroom window as no one could hear me yelling for help to get out because the music was too loud. It was a funny moment. So it gave me a chance to speak to him like a real person....that's when I found out he really didn't like acting as much as you think someone in his position would...back then when I met him, he was still very popular.

The casting mistake in Monster in Law was with casting Jennifer Lopez. She is is a terrible actress. Her voice and accent are even worse. Michael was fine, but teamed up with JL, he didn’t have a chance from the start. Jaylo is better not heard.

i was keen to see him in other stuff. however i think he did totally overestimate his reach from alias. i think it would have been wise for him to do a variety of indies, have heaps of examples of his acting capabilities and then let that pave the way into bigger roles. the amount of times that directors cast someone because of a small role or movie they saw the actor in..
