But sadly hotstar is struggling in India and now Jio cinema with its good content is all set to rule the Indian streaming markets . Frankly , Hotstar has no good shows and does not often launches great films . People only bought Hotstar subscriptions just for watching T20 matches.

correct plus Disney have no faith in Indian Market ....it is Fox Star which was owned by Disney ...that why they are operating other wise Disney Shop was already closed in 2016 after Dangal release .........Hotstar depend on Cricket & IPL majorly .....but Mukesh Ambani Jio Strategy completely kicked the Hotstar in the revenue game ......plus hot star & sony both have Poor range of content compare to Netflix & Amazon Prime

Well, take away the English Premier League and you’ll be left with a pretty average streaming platform with hardly any engaging shows to watch. This became way more aggravated once HBO migrated their contents to Jio Cinema. Not sure how long they can hold up with their catalogue of banal Marvel contents.
